it is a joy to cowork with Christ! paul was setting up for cor 13 that makes the point that love should be the focus over our current position. if you want to discover your place in the church then hang out with a few folks that also desire to follow Jesus. now you have a church. :) love them and pray for them and when you think of a way to bless them, do it. it can be simple. you might experience different blessings being pulled out of Christ in you when you are around different groups too. Paul was making a point to not discredit yourself if you are not like someone else... that we are one body if Christ is the Head. when you are focused on Christ though this just happens since you are so grateful for Him you see different attributes of Him through others and it brings you joy -not envy. not competition but support. sometimes i have to get over myself in order to have more Christ for others. for instance being willing to step out in unfamiliar territory because the Spirit's love compels me to. also i want to be prepared in my heart to be used however He sees fit at any moment. sometimes my known or previously demonstrated gifts can be a temptation to not stay humble and sensitive to His leading foremost.also, your worth is that He died for you. not what you can do. we die to ourselves so He can live through us :)
nowhere... paul mentions gift of administration in cor 12 though... look to Jesus. follow Him and He guides you changes you... your worth comes from the price He paid for you... not from what you can do.
