Hey Rob. I presume you can get in touch with dev team. Get them to give in game option to completely disable effects coming from other players. When playing hordes etc it.s just crazy amount of effect, flashes etc. Where you cannot see monsters and it.s not pleasant for eyes.
S4 Hota was my first character ever in any Diablo game and I loved it so much I bought a badass cosmetic set just for that guy. Haven’t played barb since and didn’t really play much of the expansion but I’m really excited to play hota/charge again. Ready to start slaying some demons y’all

Hey Rob! I see you are basing your list purely on pit. Was wondering if you could make a list for speed farming. Blood surge for example doesn’t push the highest pits but it’s definitely absolutely insane for any type of speed farming.
So, can you build a earthquake barb right from the start, using also as leveling build? Or is it better to choose some other builds? It seems very fun to me and i would like to try it but barb is a little slower than other class when you have to level up. Thanks!
tl;dr comment. I'm a long time fan of Diablo. Me, 4 of my brothers and my dad would hop on Discord and we'd play the game together. Played every Diablo since part 1. This the first season we haven't played together. But I thought let me at least try and see what it's like. I tried the Necro this time around. Mostly melee style with Reap and Sever, centered around shadow damage with the skills, ultimate, keypassive, merc, and witchcraft spells. By level 26 I asked myself why am I even playing. Lol! It felt like a chore to try and see the season completed, but not in the conventional grinding sense, but the redundancy of the game's gameplay loop. First quest and oh look, there's a boss already surrounded by other players, guess I'll fight him too. Oh look, it happened again, guess it's time to go back to the tree of whispers and unlock witchcraft now. Only took less than 5 minutes. It was so much going on on the screen that I didn't really know what was going on. It wasn't any effort on my part to progress the first few quests, or any quest for that matter. Just breezing through. Felt like I walked in a room and got told congratulations for something I didn't even do. Oh look, witchcraft is vampiric powers all over again. Oh look, the hunts or whatever have the exact same mechanic as Infernal Hordes. Every encounter is ultimately the same experience. Here I go again trying to have faith in something y'know? Byproduct of all the legacy fans of Diablo since part 1. Trying to hold on. Makes me sad. Feels more like a mobile game now. The abundance of loot falling out of a cache like you hit the jackpot every single time does the opposite of what a rush feels like to me. And there's just something about overall combat gameplay that isn't sitting right with me anymore. The limitations around evade, you basically have to dive in head first into all enemy encounters and rely solely on barrier and resistances, not any type of skill on your part as a player. Just mathematical equations hoping your numbers will survive their numbers. Just standing there clicking buttons waiting for their hp to disappear without having any type of skill isn't fun gameplay. The simplicity of the skill tree and lack of visual synergy makes me sigh as well. The game's aesthetic isn't as dark and ominous as I previously thought. It's starting to look more cartoony like in the D3 days. The game's targeted audience I guess I'm no longer a part of after all these years. But to be fair, maybe I'm anticipating something in the game that never applied to the franchise to begin with because none of the previous Diablo games had what I'm looking for. But after all of the games I've played after Diablo 3's release, I was expecting more than a point and click and waiting for damage numbers to dominate enemies type of game. The bar has been raised so much in aRPGs, this classic style of gameplay feels kind of "dated"? I think what I like the most about this season is the new cosmetics. But I've invested in so many since launch, I'm not itching to do that again. Especially since the prices behind platinum to get a few is pretty outrageous if we're being honest. 150 bucks to get a good number of cosmetics is pretty crazy in today's economy. I've had my fair share of buying that multiple times and it's just not in me anymore. Maybe it's the principle behind it. 60 dollar game that took years to make, and you want me to spend a little over 3 times as much for cosmetics that took days to make as opposed to the years it took making the game. The value of the cosmetics shouldn't outweigh the entirety of the game, but here we are. I wouldn't feel much about it if the game was free and the cosmetics had those prices. Somebody's gotta make a living. So yeah, cosmetics are pretty dope, but the game kinda sucks now and that makes me sad. I don't want to feel that way as a long time fan. It is what it is. Game just isn't for me. Maybe when Diablo 5 comes out, Blizzard will have a solid team that learned from this game's ups and downs and start incorporating more mechanics that makes the player more involved in the combat, a more satisfying endgame loop, more mechanics to skill crafting and things of that nature. Who knows. At least we got an armory. Maybe PoE2 spoiled me.
I didnt think I would play D4 again because I'm having so much fun in PoE2. I think I will play at least one character through. I need a break from exile lol

Man I am torn between barb and Druid. Druids are finally good but I have made a couple. Barbs should be good again and I have only ever played 1. I’m leaning towards Druid since if I get bored of Cata ultimate build I can do pets with the new powers.

Its crazy they just left Sorc in the dumpster for this whole season. Like they didn't even bother trying to make them competitive with the other classes. I always play Sorc or Barb, and then Spiritborn last season because new OP class, but this season I want something new so its either Rogue, Necro or Druid. I'm leaning Druid because magical thunder and lightning infused werebear seems like a cool class fantasy, but Necro also seems preeeeety cool...
Can’t wait to start a new season it’s been so long. I need some Diablo 4. Wish the season theme is better though. Blizz needs to do better with poe on its heels. Almost a carbon copy of season 2. If they were going to recycle content they should’ve taken a fan favorite from Diablo 3 like altar of rites or ethereals and changed them up a bit
You can use a runeword like Zan Jah which causes your next evade to be a teleport after casting an ultimate skill and maybe get a GA movement speed affix on your boots with a movement speed temper. The only thing on the skill tree which seems to help is Death’s Approach which boosts your movement speed by up to 15% if you invest 3 points.

Rogue is definetly number 1 in variety, first or at shared first spot with sorc in speed content, but propably wont clear 150 so falls behind barb/druid/necro in pits. I'm trying to decide between rogue and barb, but propably will end up going barb since it's been a while i have played it, and the leapquake looks really fun for speeds.
SB is nerfed into nothing now from what I hear. I fear Blizzard is going to destroy the game for good for me and make me quit because they can't get shit right. They seem to OVER BUFF classes then OVER OVER nerf the classes making them useless like they did in season 6
