Thank you so much. On mother's day I began to play all of my mom's favorites, Tom Jones being her most favorite. We use to watch his TV show in 1970 together and she was just crazy about him. She passed away in 2016. I miss her girl. Thank you so much. I am subscribed ♥️👍

Hi. Great reaction. When I listen to this song I picture the callous woman that Tom loves. He’s broken-hearted and tearful. She calls him pathetic and bluntly tells him that she does NOT want him. Then she walks away.

If you haven’t done “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again” please consider it. Tom is 80 years old & still going strong. Also “Delilah”. But this song is a great display of his enormous talents. Back in the day, women through panties at this man. lol. It’s a bit embarrassing to think about that now.

I was 20 or 21 when this aired and is the best rendition of the song I’ve ever heard. He emotes such strong passion in this song. However…
… however actually listen to the words themselves.
* Is he a bum? Has nothing, he has no one.
* How does he KNOW what her life is like? Well…
* He follows her on her dates, to restaurants and clubs among other places.
* Watches him buying gifts like diamonds.
* Perhaps sneaking in where she lives, checking out her closets, jewelry boxes, letters.
* He voyeuristically watches them through windows. Watching intimate moments with this other man.
