  • The Theme From "The Deerhunter" (Cavatina 1989 version).
We really like this song by the lead guitarist of the Big Band, on night 3 of the 8 night Transatlantic cruise.
Notice how dancers on the QM2 had no hesitation about getting onto the dance floor when the music started. QE and QV dancers are that way too, but not those on the Queen Anne. It was puzzling.

Part of the issue with Queen Anne may be that Cunard have gone out of their way to market her as different from the others. They seem to think they need younger passengers. I don't quite get that, because the supply of old people is always being topped up so they're not likely to run short. You've experienced what seems like a policy to restrict the availability of dancing and that has been reflected in programmes for cruises before you sailed. Yet another thing I don't understand; I read comments from dancers that seem bothered if the floor isn't rectangular, perhaps that puts them off. We've danced on odd shaped floors over the years, and we see you dancing on other lines that don't have floors like Cunard.

Hi, thanks for watching this channel. I have a favor to ask, please do not post comments here on how people dance. This channel only wishes to showcase how dancers enjoy dancing to their hearts, however way they prefer to express themselves in decent ways. No teaching, no judging. Thank you.

It was a genuine question. As someone who enjoys watching dancing I have not seen this before. I imagined it was perhaps a new genre? I will continue to watch dancing and perhaps connect with others who are more generous and willing to explain rather than criticise those of us who are not fully offe with the art of ballroom dancing. Best foot forward..@@tonymariadance
