Thanks for your comment. The fertilizer used for satsuki in Japan is solid "oil cake". Do you have it in UK?　It is an organic fertilizer and is usually given three times a year: during the spring budding season, when the flowers have finished blooming, and at the end of summer.

The fertilizer used for satsuki bonsai is called "fermented oil cake".
