Steven Spielberg said that he did not enjoy this film as much as the rest of the Indiana Jones films, but said that it was a great experience for him, because he met his future wife, Kate Capshaw, during the production of this movie. The "chilled monkey brains" were made from custard and raspberry sauce. Kate Capshaw had to be taught how to scream
Part of why Spielberg hated Temple of Doom was because he and George Lucas underwent breakups in their respective relationships; Lucas divorced his wife, Marcia, while Spielberg broke up with Amy Irving. Hence, the scene where the sacrifice victim has his heart ripped out and set ablaze.
It's quick the only mention is that it says 1934 in the opening. Also a lot of people have questioned how Indy could have seen so much magical stuff in TOD and then have so much disdain for mysticism in Raiders. (A great explanation is that each movie stands on its own, not meant as a sequel to another.)
If American Pie adventure has a name it must be Devon Tennison as Cookie Masterson Stifler Indiana Jones rescuing the cast of American Pie's acting careers with some olden prehistoric classic films from the 1930s - 1970s that yes regards YDKJ movies.
When I was a child I tought that this was thw perfect indiana Jones for children, When people used to say that was too dark I thought that was BS Today as an adult I say that people who say that this film is dark is just brainless repeatinh what everybody says like a broken record without thinking.
This movie is the very first PG- 13, it wasn't dark enough to receive anything harder but it was way too heavy for PG so they invented a new category specially for it!
My favourite Indiana Jones movie by far.. underrated for sure
Good one 😂
Even though I find this movie so dark, I still consider my favourite Indiana Jones movie ever.
Raiders of the Lost Ark is the best one, but this might be better then last crusade.
Same here
This is probably my favorite Indiana Jones movie simply for having my favorite action set pieces.

Mola Ram doesn't sound like himself here. Early dub I guess.
0:10- (As narrator) ...Roy Hobs from The Natural.
0:57- The trailer ends with a human sacrifice.

This movie can be described as one word FOUL and if you disagreed with me Watch the scene where a person pulls out someone’s heart.

What is the rating r or PG 13
PG-13
This movie is the very first PG- 13, it wasn't dark enough to receive anything harder but it was way too heavy for PG so they invented a new category specially for it!
No it’s rated PG, the PG-13 rating was introduced in 1984 after the production and release of temple of doom.
@@mikeholmes621 No the movie Red Dawn was the first movie rated PG-13 in 1984 when the PG-13 rating was first introduced.
