For a girl like me who really likes stews, soups, casseroles and burritos freeze dried food works so well with me. I used to think it was expensive and not worth it but how wrong I was. I realized I am out of mushrooms I just ran out yesterday and when I looked at how long the last time was I bought mushrooms it was a year ago.! I use mushrooms almost every single day. It is amazing how far it goes because a little bit goes along way and you always have the ingredients you need on hand. You never have to run to the store and waste gas or food that you cannot use. It really does save you money. I'm talkin lots of money I am poor and on a fixed income. I used to go hungry by the middle of the month but not anymore I have so much food I'll never go hungry again and that's a fact. It may seem like a lot of money at first but go ahead and buy yourself one can of food just one I challenge you buy one can and see how long it will last you. you will truly see the difference. Just buy a small can of something that you would use. These are also great to use in smoothies or to make baby food. And baby food is not just for babies it can also be used for your pets. It's also great to add some nutrients to your pets food. My dogs and cats love it as well... Just think how long your black pepper last you. Think about those herbs on your shelf that are dried and sitting in a jar ready for you to season your food with it's always at your disposal you never have to run to the store to buy those Italian herbs and they're always fresh every time you use them. That is what having freeze dry food is like. It never goes bad you have plenty of it and it's always on hand and nothing ever goes to waste. Thank you Bill and Elizabeth for introducing us to Thrive Life many years ago..
Well, we finally did it! We made our first Thrive Life purchase and we are so excited! Cannot wait to enjoy using these and learning all the delicious meals we will make with them. You two are such blessings to us. Much love from Ga!
Good morning! ☕ The soup looks good! I think people only see the initial cost of buying the items at the outset...not knowing how long those items will be available to them even on a daily basis. It is better than keeping meats in the freezer as well which take up far more room and ends up not being as fresh.....sooo, quick, easy, no waste and it tastes great😊
I really like how convenient it is to make what I will eat instead of having leftovers from cooking what I bought. I’m single and cooking for 1 is extremely difficult. I have always enjoyed having a pantry to store extra food. My own little grocery store if you will. I will add that I don’t always use water however. Many time I use my bone stock that I make. Thrive should look into freeze drying bone stock. It is so good.
Tis the season for soup! I do this all the time too. So many soups to try.... combinations and then there is the cheese sauce and tomato sauce too! YUM Thanks Elizabeth. Bill good to see you still kicking~ I hope your healing well.
❤️I am on my own for 2 weeks …since having a stroke and now really bad arthritic knees, I am really not cooking well at all. I thought about the upcoming weeks and remembered my freeze dried veggies etc and decided that big pot of chicken noodle soup I could handle in my smaller pot and with cut up veggies…I wouldn’t need at stand and peel or slice …I could be a fancy chef again !!! Funny you made this today because all my cans are sitting on the counter ready to go!!!! So true we can do this in a safe and thrifty manner and thrive!!!❤❤
I am really curious. How much were the ingredients for your bowl of soup? It looked like about a scant quarter of a cup of everything. You put eight or nine different ingredients in your bowl. I know they are all different prices (the meat isn't the same price as the onion, etc.) If you could give us an idea, please?
Good morning Bill and Elizabeth 🌻😊❤ Boy the soup looks really good.! I have been checking out the product and looking forward to making some purchases in the near future. I always enjoy watching Elizabeth when she prepares Thrive Life meals and especially enjoyed her lovely dishes for prep and serving, this video. Elizabeth looks like she has a glow this morning and I'm glad to see Bill feeling so much better. We serve an awesome God who is absolutely good.! P.S. Elizabeth, I really like your beautiful china hutch in the corner. ❤ I appreciate the both of you and your leadership. Thank you for your wisdom and knowledge about Thrive Life. God bless you and keep you safe ❤️ 😇🙏🩸🕊️🩸🙏😇
What is also so very appealing is you just throw in a spoonful of this, a spoonful of that as you're making that soup. Without Thrive you'd have to spend so much time prepping, chopping, peeling, throwing out the scraps not to mention what happens to your eyes every time you start cutting up onions!! It's a huge time saver!
I like to make up half a dozen or so of different lunches in jars. I have a soup thermos that I dump one in in the morning and then at work I just add the hot water. I have delicious lunch and something different each time.
I bought Thrive a couple years ago and I also canned from the garden. I am in a hurry using up my canning as some is five years old. I decided not to can at all this year as I need to get a handle on what I already have. I had no idea about how much and what I'd need. Well I do now. But my Thrive will still be there and I don't have to worry about it.
Lovely video. Enjoyed the dining preparations in the Pioneer Woman bowls and kettle. Beautiful, wish she would reach out and sponsor you. Anyway, blessed lunch and definitely have creative ideas on meal preps with Thrive Life ~ thank you both! 🥰😎
That soup seems hardy. My Excitement was to see your China cabinet catercorner. I was going to suggest that when you were rearranging furniture but for some reason I forgot to put that in the comments. What a light airy cozy comfortable looking home. Continued blessings.
Shelf life is 25 years unopened on the shelf, and one year after the can is opened. You can extend that by re-vacuum, sealing it, or putting in the freezer.
Ruth here, l cut out a lot of carbs years ago, to get rid of yeast infection, l did this years ago, the doctor told me, it won't work, but it did. So in our house, no peas, corn, most beans gone, and up the meat.
With Thrive Life you’re not stuck eating a prepackaged, freeze dried meal. If you cook a meal, like this, you can just put in the ingredients you want, with the amounts that you want.
Freeze dried compared to dehydrated? Will you be having Christmas bundle specials? Very good point on waste for sure . Any discount seniors? Loved this podcast .. shall have to order soon . Thank you both in Christ Jesus always.
Freeze dried is considerably better than dehydrated, for various reasons. All of Thrive Life's products are freeze dried. They don't have any special prices for seniors, and I don't know if Thrive will have anything special for Christmas or not. They haven't told us yet. But they always have a huge Black Friday sale in November. The cheapest and easiest way to purchase Thrive Life products is through the Monthly Delivery Service. When you join the Monthly Delivery Service you will get 15% off of all prices. You will also get free shipping on any order $99 or more. Shipping in the USA is 12% - so the total savings on Delivery orders over $99 is 27%! (In Canada, shipping is 16%, so the total savings for Canadians on Delivery is 31%) If you place an order on the Delivery Service that’s less than $99, you will pay shipping, but you DO still get the 15% off of the pricing. So even if your order is less than $99, it's still worth it to order through Delivery. And Delivery Service members can take advantage of the Monthly Specials, which have deals every month up to 30% off! Now, the Delivery Service is completely customizable. You can change the items that you put in it every month. You can change the date that it processes. You can order more than once a month, or you can skip several months if you want. And you can cancel at any time - there is no obligation. (So if you want to get the best price savings by ordering at lest $99, but you can’t afford $99/month, you can just order every other month, and save $50 toward your next order on the months that you do not make a purchase.) To join Delivery, just put everything that you want to purchase into your shopping cart, then check out. On the Check-out page, there will be a button with an option to join the Delivery Service. It should show you how much you will save by joining Delivery. Once you join Delivery, you will get a separate “Delivery Page.” (You can access it from the little truck icon at the top right of the website.) To place a new Delivery order, ALWAYS go to the truck. If you use the shopping cart, you will not get the Delivery pricing.
@@LiveSimpleLiveFreewow! Didn't know it had to be in the truck. I think I always have done that? Will checking that for sure next time. Thanks for the info.
I always have a can of the chopped onions on hand. I never have to stop everything to buy an onion to make a soup, etc. I have can of chopped red and green peppers too. Haven't used that in anything yet but its not going bad sitting unopened on my shelf. I just pick and choose the few items like to have on hand. Cute haircut on Elizabeth. Flattering!
A year. (Only exception is pulled pork. It can’t last more that a few weeks after opening. If we have some left, we pop it in the freezer. Must be the type of fat in the pork.) Everything else lasts a year in the can with the lid on. Doesn’t need refrigeration.
I just now am having a chance to try my Thrive Life. It's 21° and I'm making tomato based vegetable soup. I opened the can of tomatoes and couldnt believe how they smelled like fresh tomatoes!! I cant wait to eat!
I just ordered my first Thrive Life order and it will be delivered tomorrow!!! The sad thing is that I just found you today. Please know that my next order will be through you. I appreciate your videos showing suggested meals using Thrive. I have a question regarding the soup you can make....if I use chicken instead of beef, could i add hot milk ( or milk powder) for a cream soup?
Sure! You’re the cook, make it however you like. That’s one of the beauties of Thrive Life food. You can get individual ingredients so you can cook it the way you like it. Compared to other freeze dry food companies that only have meals that are already made. You have to eat it the way they made it, or not eat at all! Here’s the way Thrive Life purchasing works. You’ve already made a purchase. You are now registered as a customer of whoever you bought from. In order to change, you must request to change your consultant. That’s easy to do. Just send me an email at billk@kelleremail.com and request to change your consultant to me, Bill Keller. I will forward your email to Thrive Life and get the change done. After that’s accomplished, I will be your new consultant.
Sure. As a diabetic, or gluten free, or low carb, or low sodium, od vegan, there are certain things at the grocery store that you can't eat, so you don't buy them. Same with Thrive Life. Thrive Life is like a freeze-dried grocery store. Each can has one individual item in it (Hamburger, or corn, or broccoli, or eggs, etc) with NO additives of any kind. So if you're on a restricted diet of any kind, just order the foods that you CAN eat - just like the grocery store. Here is a video that talks about that. Is Thrive Life Organic? ruclips.net/video/KHJVjuj6gQc/видео.html
i like the idea of jars of food, just add hot water mix. so easy to share with friends and family and those in need. i do have a question...i have some liver and digestive issues and wondered if you have any trouble after eating these meals? are there certain meals you have to stay away from?
Once you refresh the food with water, it's just like fresh food. So if you have fresh foods that you can't eat, stay away from them here also. But there are NO issues with the food just because it has been freeze-dried. The only thing the freeze-drying process does is remove the water. Then you add the water back to refresh it to the original state.
Hello Bill and Elizabeth, Does Thrive Life have a sample package for people to try ? If so, could you tell me how it is listed? I think I would like the taste the products prior to purchasing. Thanks for the info.
Does Thrive Life have Sample Packs? Thrive Life has many “Variety Packs.” These vary from a 3-month supply down to a small “Snackies” Fruit and vegetable pack. The Snackies are the best way to experience Thrive Life without spending much money. You can see all of the Variety Packs here. bkeller.thrivelife.com/food-storage.html#variety-packs Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the less expensive Snackies packs. Or you can just purchase a couple of Snackies individually, to try them out. bkeller.thrivelife.com/all-products.html#snackies But what I recommend are the Chef Packs. There are three different Chef Packs to choose from: Ground Beef, Pulled Pork, and Southwest Chicken. Each Chef Pack will give you 9 pantry cans of food, plus 6-7 recipe cards that will show you exactly HOW to cook the food that comes in the pack. And you will get more than the 6-7 meals out of the pack. Once you have cooked all of the recipes, you will still have some freeze dried food left in the cans. Many people will join the Monthly Delivery Service to get the best prices, and then purchase one of each Chef Pack for the next 3 months. By the time they are done with that they have taken a full “tour” of what cooking with Thrive Life is all about! Or you can just purchase one Chef Pack through the Shopping Cart without joining the Monthly Delivery Service.
I enjoyed the soup making with thrive, I very much wish they accepted EBT so those of us that are very poor could buy it, Thrive would be perfect for me because of my bad health, God bless you both,
You are so right - it takes time. We have to soldier on to pay off these debts. Every month I have little progress but I will Never give up! Hopefully for me it will be only two years more .
I would love to have a handful of these products. It is so easy for me to default to ordering out when I am feeling low energy or having a painful day. I am trying to eat more homecooked, low processed meals for my health though.
The exchange rate changes every day. Listing the prices in USD actually saves you money. If they listed them in CAD, they would have to raise to prices to accommodate the daily fluxuations. When you place an order, your bank will do the conversion for you. If you would like to see what you are spending in CAD, you can google "USA to CAD," or go here. www.bing.com/search?pglt=41&q=usa+to+cad+conversion&cvid=e7d0c4604f1c445bbbe3dbed999cdde0&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBAgDEAAyBAgAEAAyBAgBEAAyBAgCEAAyBAgDEAAyBAgEEAAyBAgFEAAyBAgGEAAyBAgHEAAyBAgIEADSAQkxMDI5OGowajGoAgCwAgA&FORM=ANNTA1&PC=ACTS Enter the USD, and it will give you the CAD.
Sorry, no. They used to have catalogs. But now everybody just orders from the website. He got to the point where Thrive was printing catalogs, and nobody use them. I just sat on the shelves. They couldn’t continue to print catalogs that nobody used. So they discontinued them about five years ago. now you just order from the website. thrivelife.com/bkeller
Thanks for the video Bill and Elizabeth with all the great information about the benefits of buying Thrive Life food. Blessing to you both! Please pray for Israel and all that is going on over there!
Thrive Life caters to people from all walks and strengths of life. It looks good. If they ever get to Greece let me know Bill and Elizabeth. Quick and fun cooking I love it.
This would be good if we lose power, we can heat water on a grill for instance. Floridian here, we have and even with generators you want to reserve fuel for other uses. Plus the days we are in now are darker than I ever imagined.
Thank you for the great ideas! I have been thinking about what I could do for an individual serving. Love the lunch on the go idea! Much healthier than ramen noodles!
The broth, as done here, is thin and watery (just beef bouillon). But there are several things you can do to thicken it up. Thrive has a beef sauce called Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy). Mix it thick and it makes beef gravy. Mix it thinner and it makes a great thick and hardy soup base. You can also take some of the freeze-dried beef and put in it a blender while still dry. It makes great beef powder that can be added to the soup to add more flavor and thickness to the broth.
Yes, it's all non-GMO. No preservatives, MSG, or chemicals or additives of any kind. And it's healthier and more nutrient dense than the grocery store fresh produce. Here's my video about all of that. Is Thrive Life Organic? ruclips.net/video/KHJVjuj6gQc/видео.html
Love your channel. I think you should do a video where you shop for the ingredients for a conventional meal and then cook the same meal using the Thrive life foods. It would be easier to understand, the waste, the savings. The convenience, etc.
Good morning! I believe Bill & Elizabeth have said that some products can last up to a year depending on moisture levels that have been introduced. I think that meat once opened might only last two weeks in the fridge. I could be wrong on that one. 😊
The pulled pork only lasts two weeks after it’s opened. So once it’s opened, we keep it in the freezer. All other meats last one year after they’re opened. And all meats are good for 25 years before they are opened.
@@LiveSimpleLiveFree🤦🏼♀️ the freezer! I lost some pulled pork because I couldn’t get it used up in the 2 weeks. I didn’t once think of putting it in the freezer. I won’t make that mistake again, thanks

My grandmother used to say the same thing in the 60s: “The most expensive food you’ll ever have is the food you have to throw away.” Wow. Being a former military wife myself, I loved the commissary; everything was so much cheaper for military families anyway. So, would need a grocery store comparison. And since I’ve retired (2/1/23), I’m being paid more than my job: (1) NC Retirement - job in state government, and (2) SSA Retirement. I’m making about $1,500/month more on retirement. I’m wondering how everything can be maintained at the 1950 price range……don’t think it can….so there’s that. Call it inflation, call times, it won’t be as cheap today as it was even in 1980. Just FYI
That’s impossible to say. For instance, for the soup, we used nine different ingredients from nine different cans. And we used about 2 tablespoons of each. Also, each can contains a different number of servings, depending on what the item is. Remember, each can is one ingredient - hamburger, or green beans, or apples, or broccoli, etc.
Can I buy just one can? Sure. Just put the item you want into the shopping cart and check out. Do that as often as you want. However. Just so you know, when you place an order through the shopping cart, you will always pay full retail plus shipping on every order. Shipping is 12% with a minimum shipping charge of $8. Many people will purchase just one or two cans, just to see if they like it. I completely understand that! So I recommend placing one or two orders just to try it out. But then join the Delivery Service to get the best prices. The cheapest and easiest way to purchase Thrive Life products is through the Monthly Delivery Service. We'll good morning. I can see how nice the broccoli would be in a bowl of instant soup. It is very delicate when freeze dried. How did you find the peas? How soft did they get with just boiled water as they are much more dense? Can't wait to try the diced beef. I really like the onions. We've tried them already in a few dishes and they taste and smell great. Thank you for posting these ideas for sharing and travel as well. God bless.
Yeah, I (Bill) sometimes add Thrive ingredients to canned soup and/or Ramen to give it more body, and that works well. The peas are great. They get nice and soft, as long as the water is hot, and you give them enough time.
Yes, it'll work in a crockpot. Once you refresh it with water, it's just like cooking with fresh food. But as you saw in this video, all you really need is some hot water for a few minutes.
Sure. Once you refresh freeze dried food with water, it’s just like cooking with fresh food. You can refrigerate or freeze it for later use. Many times we plan on leftovers. We cook enough for a second meal the next day.

I would be happy to talk to you. If you have any specific questions, you can email me. billk@kelleremail.com I can answer your questions by email, or we can set up a phone call.
I love the idea but you also should mention that after you open it, it's still good for a year I believe in the original can.❤❤❤Just a suggestion for your followers, like me.😊
Absolutely! In fact, Thrive has little pouches that they call “snackies” that are filled with fruits or vegetables that are eaten dry as snacks. All of the fruits and veggies are freeze dried raw. But all of the meats are pre-cooked before they are freeze dried. Which means you can also eat the meat without refreshing it with water. That’s why this soup works with just pouring water over it.
You said impulse buying I was laughing!!! I went to go to the grocery store to buy milk, creamer and sugar. Well, came home with other items which made my bill so much higher.
This was good information. I've been watching you on and off for a while now, and have started to take an interest in Thrive Life. We have downsized to almost owning nothing. Just our travel trailer, and essentials,a bit of second hand furniture in a "grandparent's suite" in our oldest daughter's home. We have had dehydrated food saved away for 4 years. I just was reading the ingredients and I'm shocked. Don't know why I didn't look at it before. And i had no knowledge of Thrive Life. Just purchased what we could afford as emergency food during hard times! I've found most of the protein is soy. There isn't actual meat included in any of the meals. Pleased to see Thrive Life has meat. This would be an excellent option for the two of us not only when traveling, but convenience in our little "grandparent's suite", when there isn't a big meal being prepared in the kitchen. Thank you.
Thrive Life is the BEST quality that you can buy, with NO additives or substitutions (like soy instead of meat). And freeze-dried food is ALWAYS better quality than dehydrated. Thrive works GREAT in an RV because you can carry much more food along since it does not weigh much (weight is always an issue in an RV) and it won't take up any of your tiny refrigerator space! And once you refresh it, you can't even tell that it's not fresh!
Just on your TL site. I get it where people say it's "expensive", not realizing the cooking process has already been done on the meats etc. Some items per serving are pricier than buying fresh. As you said, the freeze drying is a convenience that helps to resolve waste as well as the weight and storage of the food being convenient. Certainly compared to dehydrated foods. It is an amazing product.
These products sound like a wonderful idea for me. I am nearly 80 an live in an independent living facility. I can’t commit to monthly delivery but would like to order some of the meats . They would last a long time. Is that possible
Yes, you can just order whatever you want, whenever you want. Just put the items into your shopping cart and check out. However.... that is the most expensive way to do it. The Monthly Delivery Service is much cheaper. And you can skip months. I believe you are living simple in your two homes. No doubt, your health has improved by living in Florida during the winter months. I wonder if there are statistics for the approximate number of "snow birds" (like you) from other states.
Looks yummy and I would have added a small can of tomato juice. I love vegetable soup with a tomato base and an icy cold glass of whole milk. My perfect lunch. I would not turn down your version either. ❤️🤗.
Elizabeth also loves tomato based soup broth. Thrive Life has tomato powder (freeze dried tomato paste), and she loves to throw in a spoonful or two. But we don't yet have a full stock of Thrive at our home here in Florida. We don't have any tomato powder here or she would have included it.
I always appreciate you two. I understand what you’re saying, all of this was true except I don’t see how this soup was delicious at all. I’m sorry I love how quick, I love no waste but it looks like no taste. I totally respect you both I watch all the time and support your show.
I don't know why you would think that. It tastes delicious! It's just the basic ingredients for any basic soup. If you prefer, you could simmer it for a while, but it wouldn't make it tastier than it already is.
Onstead of using zipper plastic bags for camping, the office or giving others soup mixes, use plastic (or glass) containers appropriate for the amount product you will be needing. I'm not a tree hugger just thinking of cost cutting. Love y'all. God bless y'all too🇮🇱🇮🇱🙏🙏 Pray for Israel.
Yes, you can use a Tupperware type microwavable bowl with a lid. Then just add water. The Ziploc bag would work great for camping or traveling because it would fit easier into a purse or suitcase or backpack.

That is what having freeze dry food is like. It never goes bad you have plenty of it and it's always on hand and nothing ever goes to waste. Thank you Bill and Elizabeth for introducing us to Thrive Life many years ago..
Elizabeth, I love the idea of how quickly you made a delicious bowl of soup! Thanks for sharing.🥣
Well, we finally did it! We made our first Thrive Life purchase and we are so excited! Cannot wait to enjoy using these and learning all the delicious meals we will make with them. You two are such blessings to us. Much love from Ga!
Soup and warm tea... these are few of mt favorite things ❤
Good morning! ☕ The soup looks good! I think people only see the initial cost of buying the items at the outset...not knowing how long those items will be available to them even on a daily basis. It is better than keeping meats in the freezer as well which take up far more room and ends up not being as fresh.....sooo, quick, easy, no waste and it tastes great😊
Elizabeth, you look wonderful. It shows that your health has improved. I enjoy your videos. You and Bill are inspirational. 🎉
Elizabeth…you are just the sweetest and you look so pretty today! God bless you and Bill!
Tis the season for soup! I do this all the time too. So many soups to try.... combinations and then there is the cheese sauce and tomato sauce too! YUM Thanks Elizabeth. Bill good to see you still kicking~ I hope your healing well.
Love love love your cooking segments!!!!!
I would really be interested in knowing how many ounces your serving was and what that the price of that serving of soup would be
For the current prices, what was the estimated cost of that bowl of soup?
❤️I am on my own for 2 weeks …since having a stroke and now really bad arthritic knees, I am really not cooking well at all. I thought about the upcoming weeks and remembered my freeze dried veggies etc and decided that big pot of chicken noodle soup I could handle in my smaller pot and with cut up veggies…I wouldn’t need at stand and peel or slice …I could be a fancy chef again !!! Funny you made this today because all my cans are sitting on the counter ready to go!!!! So true we can do this in a safe and thrifty manner and thrive!!!❤❤
Yup. Quick and easy is one of the most important benefits of freeze-dried food!
Bill's Grandmother's cabinet is such a gorgeous piece and looks awesome on an angle in the corner.
I am really curious. How much were the ingredients for your bowl of soup? It looked like about a scant quarter of a cup of everything. You put eight or nine different ingredients in your bowl. I know they are all different prices (the meat isn't the same price as the onion, etc.) If you could give us an idea, please?
The soup looks delicious! I am thinking of looking into Thrive Life for my family!Thank you for sharing recipes Elizabeth and Bill!❤❤
Plus no peeling , chopping etc 🙂
Good morning Bill and Elizabeth 🌻😊❤
Boy the soup looks really good.!
I appreciate the both of you and your leadership.
Thank you for your wisdom and knowledge about Thrive Life.
God bless you and keep you safe ❤️
😇🙏🩸🕊️🩸🙏😇
What is also so very appealing is you just throw in a spoonful of this, a spoonful of that as you're making that soup. Without Thrive you'd have to spend so much time prepping, chopping, peeling, throwing out the scraps not to mention what happens to your eyes every time you start cutting up onions!! It's a huge time saver!
Yup, you can generally cut your food prep time in half, at least.
I like to make up half a dozen or so of different lunches in jars. I have a soup thermos that I dump one in in the morning and then at work I just add the hot water. I have delicious lunch and something different each time.
Really good for camping ! Low weight and space taken up! Yummy
Yup! 😊
I’m by myself, so that will be so easy and yummy. Thank you. I’m 78 and my kids can have it if I’m not around anymore.
A pat of butter in the soup for me. Looks so good !!
What a great idea. I have a tiny Ramen pot would be perfect for that! Love your videos.
Interesting video. Please answer what you do once you open a container. Spoilage must start at that point or are there ways to preserve it even then?
Your top is so flattering on you. Thanks for the demonstration. YUM,
Thank you 😊
Freeze dried compared to dehydrated?
(In Canada, shipping is 16%, so the total savings for Canadians on Delivery is 31%)
If you place an order on the Delivery Service that’s less than $99, you will pay shipping, but you DO still get the 15% off of the pricing.
(So if you want to get the best price savings by ordering at lest $99, but you can’t afford $99/month, you can just order every other month, and save $50 toward your next order on the months that you do not make a purchase.)
To join Delivery, just put everything that you want to purchase into your shopping cart, then check out.
I didn’t know you were a treker, Elizabeth! 😂
Flattering!
But when opened, how long is the shelf life then?
Thanks!
A year. (Only exception is pulled pork. It can’t last more that a few weeks after opening. If we have some left, we pop it in the freezer. Must be the type of fat in the pork.)
Everything else lasts a year in the can with the lid on. Doesn’t need refrigeration.
I just now am having a chance to try my Thrive Life. It's 21° and I'm making tomato based vegetable soup. I opened the can of tomatoes and couldnt believe how they smelled like fresh tomatoes!! I cant wait to eat!
Enjoy! 😄
Is Thrive Life good for type 2 diabetics?
How long does it last once you open the container?
One year, without refrigeration.
Once the container is open how long does the food last, since it’s shelf life is 25 years unopen?
Most items will last one year after being opened. Slightly less in very high humidity environments.
@@LiveSimpleLiveFree oh Wow! Thank you
This is definitely soup weather! Looks very delicious!
Hello Bill and Elizabeth,
Does Thrive Life have a sample package for people to try ?
Or you can just purchase a couple of Snackies individually, to try them out. bkeller.thrivelife.com/all-products.html#snackies
But what I recommend are the Chef Packs.
Stay the course. It's worth it!
I would love to have a handful of these products. It is so easy for me to default to ordering out when I am feeling low energy or having a painful day. I am trying to eat more homecooked, low processed meals for my health though.
Thrive Life is healthier, and definitely cheaper, than eating out!
great video ..but..why is the Canadian site quoted in US dollar
The exchange rate changes every day. Listing the prices in USD actually saves you money. If they listed them in CAD, they would have to raise to prices to accommodate the daily fluxuations. When you place an order, your bank will do the conversion for you.
If you would like to see what you are spending in CAD, you can google "USA to CAD," or go here. www.bing.com/search?pglt=41&q=usa+to+cad+conversion&cvid=e7d0c4604f1c445bbbe3dbed999cdde0&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBAgDEAAyBAgAEAAyBAgBEAAyBAgCEAAyBAgDEAAyBAgEEAAyBAgFEAAyBAgGEAAyBAgHEAAyBAgIEADSAQkxMDI5OGowajGoAgCwAgA&FORM=ANNTA1&PC=ACTS
Enter the USD, and it will give you the CAD.
Bill and Elizabeth, my husband and I are not technically inclined. Does Thrive Life provide catalogs that I can order from by phone?
I used to be able to get a grocery cart full for about $75 . And there was four of us.
I Love Thrive Life💕 it is definitely easy!!
Thank you for the great ideas! I have been thinking about what I could do for an individual serving. Love the lunch on the go idea! Much healthier than ramen noodles!
Does the soup have a hearty broth? It seems like it would be watery?
The broth, as done here, is thin and watery (just beef bouillon). But there are several things you can do to thicken it up. Thrive has a beef sauce called Espagnole (Savory Beef Gravy). Mix it thick and it makes beef gravy. Mix it thinner and it makes a great thick and hardy soup base. You can also take some of the freeze-dried beef and put in it a blender while still dry. It makes great beef powder that can be added to the soup to add more flavor and thickness to the broth.
Thank you I really enjoyed that
Glad you enjoyed it
Are all the food non gmo or like healthier safer then things from the store
Yes, it's all non-GMO. No preservatives, MSG, or chemicals or additives of any kind. And it's healthier and more nutrient dense than the grocery store fresh produce. Here's my video about all of that.
Is Thrive Life Organic? ruclips.net/video/KHJVjuj6gQc/видео.html
Love your channel. I think you should do a video where you shop for the ingredients for a conventional meal and then cook the same meal using the Thrive life foods. It would be easier to understand, the waste, the savings. The convenience, etc.
Huh. Interesting idea! 😊
Yep, I looked in my miniature shopping cart as I self checked, noticing that not one item was under $5.⁰⁰ 😮
Do they offer a sample pack?

Cool idea. Last weekend I made chili using diced onion and jalapenos. Can't wait for veggie soup.
Just FYI
Can you put corn in that? My husband passed away so I am cooking for just me. Thank you for showing us how to make one bowl of soup.
You can put whatever you want in it!
Thats a GREAT concept!!!!
Nice collection of the PW!!!
How many meals do you get outta one can?
That’s impossible to say. For instance, for the soup, we used nine different ingredients from nine different cans. And we used about 2 tablespoons of each. Also, each can contains a different number of servings, depending on what the item is. Remember, each can is one ingredient - hamburger, or green beans, or apples, or broccoli, etc.
My husband and I are going to buy some thrive for our RV.👍🏼
Thrive Life works GREAT in an RV. It's very lightweight, and it doesn't take up space in the little fridge!
Can you buy one can to try it?
Can I buy just one can? Sure. Just put the item you want into the shopping cart and check out. Do that as often as you want. However. Just so you know, when you place an order through the shopping cart, you will always pay full retail plus shipping on every order. Shipping is 12% with a minimum shipping charge of $8. Many people will purchase just one or two cans, just to see if they like it. I completely understand that!
So I recommend placing one or two orders just to try it out. But then join the Delivery Service to get the best prices.

I throw away more celery and mushrooms because I live alone! I just ordered the mushrooms and celery! I want to order a little each month!
Is it totally organic?
Is Thrive Life Organic? ruclips.net/video/KHJVjuj6gQc/видео.html
I wonder if this will work with the crockpot lunch maker. Would be game changing for those who bring lunch to work.
Yes, it'll work in a crockpot. Once you refresh it with water, it's just like cooking with fresh food. But as you saw in this video, all you really need is some hot water for a few minutes.
If you should have left overs can you put it in the fridge for the next day?
Sure. Once you refresh freeze dried food with water, it’s just like cooking with fresh food. You can refrigerate or freeze it for later use. Many times we plan on leftovers. We cook enough for a second meal the next day.

Everything looks so good I can’t quite convince the hubby yet he ate too much freeze dried in the Army
I spent 24 years in the Army. I can tell you that this is nothing like Army chow!
Looks good, wish we could by this from overseas🙂🇸🇯
The vegetable soup looks good.

I love the idea but you also should mention that after you open it, it's still good for a year I believe in the original can.❤❤❤Just a suggestion for your followers, like me.😊
You’re correct.
I use a walker... fill the bag under the seat... 3 cloth bags on the seat... $97 😢
Whew…
Good Morning Bill & Elizabeth, your meal has to be delicious. That was so interesting to watch.I enjoy soup a lot.Thank you for sharing.❤️
Hi, how do I get to your Thrive store?
The link is in the description of every one of our videos and on the endscreen of this video. thrivelife.com/bkeller
Can you eat the food raw without putting liquids in it
Is the food only good for 25 years if its sealed? If not, how long does it last when opened?
I was wondering the same thing. Looking forward to the answer. I’d love to try Thrive Life.
Most Thrive Life foods are good for one year after you open the can. It might be a little less if you live in a very high humidity area.
You said impulse buying I was laughing!!! I went to go to the grocery store to buy milk, creamer and sugar. Well, came home with other items which made my bill so much higher.
That happens on almost every trip to the grocery store!
Measure with your heart or what the ancestors tell you, LOL!
Just placed a monthly subscription to a few basics to get us started! 😁
So if you want to place a Delivery Order once every other month, or every third month you can do that, and still get the cheaper prices.
(In Canada, shipping is 16%, so the total savings for Canadians on Delivery is 31%)
If you place an order on the Delivery Service that’s less than $99, you will pay shipping, but you DO still get the 15% off of the pricing.
(So if you want to get the best price savings by ordering at lest $99, but you can’t afford $99/month, you can just order every other month, and save $50 toward your next order on the months that you do not make a purchase.)
To join Delivery, just put everything that you want to purchase into your shopping cart, then check out.
OK. Now I have to go out and buy the pioneer woman essentials so I can make this soup. LOL
😂🤣
Thanks for the reminder that you can use Thrive in place of fresh foods…nothing irritates me more throwing food away from spoilage…
@@LiveSimpleLiveFree I’m going to have to trust you 👍♥️
Plus you are not paying for the liquid.
I like soup 🍲 all year round. It is filling n good for you! ❤
Looks yummy ❤
Onstead of using zipper plastic bags for camping, the office or giving others soup mixes, use plastic (or glass) containers appropriate for the amount product you will be needing. I'm not a tree hugger just thinking of cost cutting. Love y'all. God bless y'all too🇮🇱🇮🇱🙏🙏
Pray for Israel.
Yes, you can use a Tupperware type microwavable bowl with a lid. Then just add water. The Ziploc bag would work great for camping or traveling because it would fit easier into a purse or suitcase or backpack.
There is no way in 1998 that you could buy that many groceries for $20 , maybe if you lived in India
