Loved the video and cracked me up with the lassie carrying her blister fear and you carrying your plugs! Who knew your bag was so light! We all walk in the same direction on the camino and I'm missing it this yea. I'm a huge fan of Azofra. Stayed there 6 times since our first camino in 2007. A wee bit of local knowledge, the guy who founded lambourghini lives there. He was about 94 last time I saw him but still enjoyed a drink with us in Bar Sevilla. We were there a month before you in 2019. I'm off to watch the rest of them! With Lockdown I search Azofra and my other favourite cafe Ligonde in Eirexe. It passes the time on my lockdown treadmill!
Wow! I did not know this about Azofra! I loved it, even though my stay was brief. Hope your lockdown is lifting soon! We are emerging next week, after being in hard lockdown since Boxing Day. Am I ever grateful I didn't put off the Camino xx
I met Joanne from Florida while in Sarria. At that point she had picked up with her friend from home. That means I was on the Camino while you were! I'm a mom of 2 teens and a wife and I walked a month on the frances too. We are like minded in that way. :) Good for you! I enjoy your vlog. Takes me back!
Hi Jen! Wow! What a small world!!! Wasn’t it just a fabulous experience? I long to do another. Joanne is a beautiful soul. I love how knowing someone so briefly can still result in meaningful conversations and insights. Thanks for checking my vids out. 🤗
It is a rainy day in T-Bay, and I discovered your Videos. Thanks. They made my day. My Wife and I have walked the Camino 3 times.. The mistakes and problems you talk about are the same as we experienced. For what it is worth..... We decided on our 1st Camino that Bunk Beds and Dorm Rooms left us TOO tired.
Hi Sam, Based on the fact I can see you continued to record these videos, it is great to see that you continued, and that you didn't continue to invest the time in your vlog. Great stuff! x
Thank you Randal! Really glad you stumbled on this wee site! I am in awe of the Camino. Not sure how I will return to my desk job lol. Blessings to you both!
Re"Spiritual" moments, try to get to the evening pilgrim blessing after mass in Carrion when you get there.I and many others find this reduces us to tears.Loving your journey.Buen Camino
Philip Tobin I went to mass tonight in Grañón and it was so moving. The entire day has thrown me in the best possible way. The pilgrims I’m meeting are the kindest people... from all over the world. It gives me such hope for humanity
@@SamanthaPlavins when I did my first Camino I had a notebook to record the different nationalities I met,but when I reached my 16th I gave up collecting.
Does anyone want to buy an unused Osprey rucksack and barely used hiking shoes...... walking without coffee indeed... thats it, I'm off to Disneyland instead :) Another fantastic video Samantha, nice to see that infectious smile back again :) Short day looks like it has done you good :)
Soulsnot Smiles haha you make me laugh!! I almost didn’t make it lol. Kidding of course this journey is so remarkable. I can’t wait for you to get out here and see for yourself what magic and healing exists along the way. I’m not sure I can put into words the evening we just had. Sharing our Camino gratitude with all pilgrims in a circle at this church that is a Donativo. I, of course, bawled when it was my turn to speak.

Hello Alan! OMG!!! Someone from Thunder Bay! That's where I live! LOL Don't know them, but love the small world-ness of the Camino. Thank you for sharing this! And your blog, too!
Love the Osprey pack. I’m glad you are able to keep it with you. I’m loving your commentary and photography. Thank you.
Thanks so much!

I adjusted! But some days, I was literally salivating thinking of my Medium, one cream, half a sugar!
