They do make us laugh all the time. So funny when they come back to the feeder and still have the peanut in their beak that they left with only to trade it for another one 😂
Your ability to show animals in their natural element is amazing! 🦌🌳 I’m planning to start making videos like this-any advice would be greatly appreciated! 😊🐾
I’ve just started feeding birds. Trying to determine what feed is in your feeders. What is in the blue glass container? Also where do you buy peanuts? Maybe farm store?
We buy a variety of different seed and mix it ourselves. The seed we put out changes based on the time of year and what birds are visiting. This way there is little waste and it's more cost effective. Currently the blue glass dish has black oil sunflower seed in it. We buy all of our seed and peanuts from a feed store that carries a wide range of supplies from livestock to backyard birding supplies and seed.
For some reason we never get many bluejays. We get a ton of cardinals and chickadees... and titmouses. The bluejays just dont come. Of course i also get the painted bunting twice a year. :)
it's such a joy to watch them, we sadly do not have them in Germany so I'm happy to look at them through your channel
Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
Jays DO love peanuts!! They crack me up because they are so picky - no, not that one - THAT one!

Looking for the best!
Thank you! 💙🐦💙
You have got to admit, it's pretty full and inviting looking. :)
Lol. They know when the feeder will be refilled 😊
I feed shelled and unshelled peanuts and also get multiple Blue Jays.

How wonderful that you get to see painted buntings!
