Do you have a demo for associative 3D sweeps in ASSY. For example point of a fitting to another point to follow the fittings when they move when you do not know the distances? .
That is the intersection axis from two datum planes. Just select two datum plans at a time and go for the new axis. You will get that. You have three default datum planes. A different combination of that will give you three different axis.
Very nicely explained! I'm working on the letter "S" that is twisted and lifted off a round surface. I tried warp but didn't get the desired result. I'm thinking this may be the way! Thanks for the help. -Bruce

You will get a coordinate system by default.
