Funny you should mention The Beatles... "Five Colours in Her Hair" is the first single off their debut album Room on the 3rd Floor. This album debuted #1 on the UK album charts in 2004, breaking the record for youngest ever band with a number 1 album - a record previously held by... The Beatles.
Tom (the guy in the glasses) has been struggling with his voice recently, so in their newest album Danny (the other lead vocal/guitar) sang the majority of the songs. Danny's vocals, especially on the new album, are incredible! I'd recommend listening to 'Honey I'm Home'. If you're looking for more of their Beatles inspired music, you'll want to listen to more of their first album, where Five Colours in her Hair was their first single. My favourite song from that album is 'That Girl'. One of their best ever live performances is 'Lies (Live At Hammersmith Apollo)'.
Thanks so much for that - now I know and that explains a lot - you can see what a great performer Tom (the guy with the glasses) is to gut it out against physical discomfort, and do it with a smile on his face, I definitely respect a person like that
Another early McFly song with the "Beatles sound" is "I wanna hold you". I think you'd like it, it's one of my favourites, you can't help but bop and sing along ❤
And, as always with McFly, it's much better to watch a live performance than the official music video, so I'd suggest the "Wonderland tour" performance from 2005 which is when this song was released. They look soooo young compared to the latest videos you've reacted to from them ❤
They are such a great talent, incredible live with a great range of genres in their catalogue
love this band! more mcfly please
You got it!
