Yes, we dodged a bullet with the hailstorm and flash flood. There are a lot of videos from Lake Powell ( not very far as the crow flys) where golf ball size hail is destroying people’s boat. Time to get to safer grounds. Thanks for watching.
Yes, we really lucked out on the way out hitting Vegas on the coolest day, good thing too, cause I don’t think we could’ve handled 110 degrees. 95 is bad enough without A/C. Our grandparents were hardy people. Think about the guys building Hoover Dam in that heat.
@@shaunarobinson4816 Shauna, thank you very much. We back home now, car ran great all 2100 miles. Have a bunch of maintenance to do now but it was a great trip. Appreciate the comment.
Epic trip! I’m with you on not being comfortable on the interstate. My old Land Rover starts to feel like it’s going to launch into orbit around 50!🚀 Not to mention, throwing a rod would be the definition of NOT FUN!😫 We’ve been wanting to visit Monument Valley. Thanks for taking us there.👍
The road at Hoover Dam was closed to the hwy on the Arizona side to prevent Big Horn Sheep on the hwy. There are crossovers and trails to prevent the sheep from getting on the bridge. This wildlife preservation engineering supposedly cost millions of $. At least this is what I heard.
Because it makes absolutely no sense it’s probably true. Looking for logic in government decisions is a fruitless exercise. Thanks for your comments and for watching.
Another great video, with wonderful photography and some quite extreme weather. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hello Model Y,
Thanks for watching, yes we lucked out. Appreciate your viewership.
Thanks for showing us some fantastic scenery! You got lucky with that storm for sure.

At 10.85 gallons that tow truck was way to close. Beautiful photography of the Model A and America. If you do a calendar put me down for one.
Stephen, thanks for the great calendar idea. We are going to look into that.
Once again, great photography! Keep up the good work and safe travels.
Thanks Rick. Appreciate your comment and continued viewership.
What lovely pictures and photography as always. Enjoyed the ride and safe travels.
Thanks William. Appreciate your continued viewership, and comments. Thanks for continuing to ride along.
South of Las Vegas today it was 110++ and it rained a bit on me. Headed to flagstaff this weekend from Joshua tree !

These get better and better each time! I love the LINDY cameos!
@@JenniferJohnsen-jf6hj she’s getting better, but still very camera shy.
Mother nature can change everything, Luck was on your side with this drive. That running board could hold a spare can of fuel, for a little insurance.
We usually top off the tank before any long distance between town, we just have a senior moment that morning.
Great video thank you. Your model A is looking so good.

On those same roads 3 weeks ago, hope you made it to Moab and went to Arches NP
Hello Bill, heading for Durango. Unfortunately I think Moab got hit hard with flash flooding.

Hello Cal,
