Nice quick gift, Ryan. You can also take the wood to your JET lathe and turn round then slice (but you may need a little larger starting piece). You can still add a little extra with the router.
@@HRConsultant_Jeff Thanks Jeff. Tons of possibilities. Was just nice to get into the shop and have some fun. I’ll be up in Shaver for the next few days. Then Sunday the plan is to shoot two new videos so I get ahead of schedule. Hope you had a good Christmas 🎄
@@JayCreatesWoodworks Thanks Jay! Yeah love the different profiles you can create with routers and also the variations of designs you can make with coasters too! Look forward to your video coming out! Thanks for the support my friend!
@@loosebootwoodworking What’s up Paul my brother. Hope you had a great holiday my friend. Yes these are a quick knockout punch for gifts, marketplace and other selling ideas. A lot of fun to make too and so many possibilities. Hope you’re doing good.
Beautiful job ryan and nice variations on these. Get some cutting board bkanks made up random colours then you can do coasters and a fruit bowl on the lathe matching coffe table set. And really go creative get all your scraps make some chaos coasters and bowls 🫡🤙🏴
Great video, nice project and delayed Merry Christmas… also a pre-Happy New Year. I love a router but my next goal is a router table. Thanks for sharing!
for extra fancy, you can laminate up some offcuts/scrap wood, cutting board style, to sell your "trash" 😁 Or if you do cutting boards make coasters that match the style of your board and sell them as a matching set. I'm sure you know, using some scrap 3/4" ply or MDF you can make a simple router table for the hand router and whip out those pieces out in no time.
@@conradwheeler68 Heck yeah brother. Those are great ideas. Matching Cutting boards with Coasters is always nice and having many options is always a great thing. Best thing about getting out in the shop is just having some type of plan and then letting it flow and watching all the creativity that comes from just having fun. Thanks my friend for all your support!
Good gifts to bust out and keep on hand just in case you have an unexpected addition to your holiday celebrations 🤘🏼
