This is a masterpiece. I’ll never forget beating Levi for the first time and seeing the speedruns shortly after, and not being able to fathom how it could be done. Hopefully one day we’ll have it and the other raids back.

i think for both eager edge skates along with shatter skating it would be interesting to see this come back. The armor is baller too, i want to see this raid come back during a content drought of destiny.
I’m very much not aware of a lot of stuff that goes on in the speedrunning community aside from occasionally watching world records of stuff, and with that being said I found this super insightful and interesting. Nice job with the video!

Levi was tons of fun - when I came back to Destiny and found that it - and the other older raids - was no longer around, I was bummed. I was in a clan that got along really well and shared the same snarky humor (like my first introduction to being launched into oblivion by a Titan teammate haha, bastard!). When we first started to learn the raid, we literally refused to watch _any_ videos on it, and totally irritated one of the clanmates who already knew a bunch about it by telling him to STFU and let us discover it for ourselves. In the end he understood - especially when we repeated this adventure for the subsequent raids. Thanks for your hard work pulling together this, and your other videos.

This was a work of art. Speedrunning (and those games lucky enough to have speedrun races) is what keeps games and their legacy alive. I remember back when this raid released, seeing it be beaten in under 20 minutes stunned me and drove me to play more. Watching speedrunners is one of my favorite things and this raid, with all its techs, glitches and bugs, will surely be missed.
Maybe someday, Bungie will realize speedrunning is actually a positive thing. Good job, Aoterra. this brought a smile to my face.

Used to love watching levi speedruns and I'm still salty about worldline skating being gone... And now icarus dash is kinda dead too :( So sad to see Bungo actively remove mechanics from the speedrunning community, sometimes without reason. Got lucky with my timing for getting into speeds cause I got to run the last levi week and it was probably the most fun I've had in any game. We weren't the best but improving was still super motivating. Was really sad seeing the raids go, hopefully something as fun as levi comes back eventually. o7
