Never underestimate these Buckeyes they can shred a team to pieces… Indiana have also earned their place on this stage. Saturday will be epic… I will be happy for either team.
this is where Chip Kelly will either earn his keep or not…same for Jim Knowles…both can win this game for us literally, or lose it also….the players ultimately will decide the outcome, by thier play….but both coaches can and do have a large part in delivering a win or loss also…..esp. Kelly because of thier nasty successful D Line and defense…Kelly is a master, and he has Jeramiah, Emeka and Carnell Tate and B. Inniss, as well as Gee , Trey, and Judkins to throw it to …and never forget we have Jeramiah Smith…and he alone can take a game over,,literally …he and Will…
Everybody has a chip these days. Some legit, some not. As much coverage as this game has attracted, it better be competitive. Every position has a backup/alternate. It'll be ok. This is The Game for OSU this yr. Get em Bucks
I don't live on the west coast so I prolly won't see all of the USC-UCLA game, if any of it. Wish it wasn't starting so late. I'd like to see some of it just for nostalgia sake. Used to be this game was one of the pieces of the "rivalry" weekend puzzle. Back when the Big Ten actually had only ten teams. It was the big two, little 8. OSU/Michigan was most always for the title and the game usually had national championship implications. Game always went off at noon usually under grey skies. Then after that game they'd take you to the big two of the Pac-8 - USC/UCLA- which was kind of a contrast with the more open offenses and the stadium lights coming on at dusk illuminating the powder blue vs maroon, which I always thought was cool. I don't know if they both still wear their home jerseys, the conference might not allow it. I remember one season the coaches got together- Neihuesel and Carroll, I think- and agreed to purposely take a delay of game so they could both wear the home jerseys anyway. The game was often for the conference title but it was most always only USC that had national title hopes. Every conference in the country had a big two and they all met on this great weekend and most all of them had some kind of title hopes involved. Nebraska/Oklahoma, Alabama/Auburn, Texas/Texas A&M, Pitt/Penn State, ...
They have the 106th-rated schedule. 5-5 Michigan is realistically the best team they have faced because of tcun's defense. OSU has a better team efficiency pass defense by a WIDE margin they are 18th in the nation. OSU in spite of the complaint of buckeye fans, is #13 in team sacks Michigan is 35th and sacked IU 4 times. I think the OSU defense is going to take it upon themselves and they are going to SMOTHER IU. I think the OSU offense is going to be effective passing and the QB run really HURTS the IU defense Howard has a huge game running and throwing and he accounts for 5 Td's running and throwing
Not a zero chance, it might be close game win for the Buckeyes, if the Hoosiers better than Nittany Lions then we will concern it, the Buckeyes will not let this slip away game
Ohio States defensive coaches better find ways to get after this QBack, and also disrupt those long passes or intercept them…turn loose both Ransom and “ the boogey man “ Caleb Downs !!..also turn loose some speedy smaller guys out on the edges, guys such as Reese, Curry, and a few others we have that can get it done…flood that backfield and get to the Quarterback !
Question if Ohio State beats Indiana and in the final game Washington beats Oregon all three teams have won loss does it still go to Oregon and Ohio State for the Big Ten Championship
That's the problem with an 18 team conference and a 9 game schedule. Really no fair way to determine a champion so it's gonna have to come down to a tie breaker probably every year. You'd probably have to google it because I doubt anyone has memorized the layers that this situation presents. My guess is that yes, it would be OSU- Oregon because I'm assuming "head to head" would be one of the top layers, and while it doesn't play out perfectly, your scenario would seem to favor those two under this condition. But you're forgetting about Penn St. If they win out, we have a four way tie. Which, again, is prolly gonna be a common occurrence each season if they continue with this format. I would also suggest that none of these four teams would even WANT to play in the Big Ten championship game. There's no advantage to it whatsoever. Quite the opposite. Your team has to get beat up playing an extra game heading into a 12 team playoff, and the loser puts another loss on their record which the committee says it will ignore but we all know that ain't true.
Yes, The Big Ten Conference big wigs announced that Oregon is in the Big Ten Championship game even if they lose next weekend. If OSU beats Indiana, then they are in the Championship game, too, even with a loss to TCUN because OSU beat both Indiana and Penn St, and that would be the 1st tie breaker criteria. Not sure why Oregon would get the other spot in the Championship game since they haven't played Penn St or Indianna
When you look too far beyond your feet, you're liable to stumble and possibly fall. The Buckeyes don't need to look Beyond Indiana in Indiana does not need to look beyond the buckeyes. Is the same old same old one game at a time. And stay focused on the game you're playing not the one the following week

HOO HOO HOO HOOSIERS! Let's go!!
Never underestimate a 'wounded animal" -- and this OSU team -- is that !
Buckeye fan here we have to play defense, the secondary has to show up especially Burke.....pass rush has to get sacks, have to get key turnovers.

Like Michigan, I expect pressure on Rourke all day.

How is Indiana this good? This needs to be studied and replicated

The Hoosiers are just going to do their job, it doesn't matter who they're playing. That's why they'll win. Go Hoosiers!!!
Oh okay, now that I’ve read your insightful analysis, I won’t watch the game because Indiana is gonna win. Thank you for sparing me the pain 🙏

Ummm. Ohio state ran for 200 yards against Penn state
Shows you Penn state isn't any good
No doubt the biggest key will be biased officiating stealing the game for the ncaa favored team... ohio!
Go Bucks! Time to reclaim the Throne this season.....
