Oh I’m surprised you haven’t already reacted to this! It’s really great. Kristina has a great voice, though I still think she has some developing to do to be a match for Katrina. But I really like her tone and she just has a very beautiful voice, nice transitions and stuff. She’s lacking in power and belting ability to me, as well as agility. But still if she has a lot of talent and it took a lot of guts for her to ask Katrina to sing with her.
I think Kristina’s voice could be pretty powerful by nature… I hear that in her tone when she sings, but she hasn’t learned how to bring that out yet in her technique. Like in the climax of the song, you can hear her voice sounding like she’s holding back. I think she just hasn’t really learn how to belt.
I used to have power and a bit of a high range.. Enough to sing Through the Fire comfortably. But during the peak of my gigs wayback 2016-2017, it was almost every night, I enjoyed it so much, everyday I had private gigs where the boss wanted me to sing One Moment in Time every day at least twice or thrice. They would request high songs. And it was okay until I challenged myself to keep on singing even with a strained voice like almost a no voice. My rhythm section used to adjust the key, lower it down since I can barely sing but I kept pushing myself to sing and that's what I regret the most. It's never the same and I don't even know if I can get my voice back.
@@kristinamadrigal As someone who could qualify as a grandparent, I would say, take a deep breath and do one of the hardest things to learn: to pick and choose what is best for YOU and to learn how to say no. Keep persevering and don’t be so hard on yourself. You’re talented with so much time and opportunity ahead of you. ❤

@@jezzy4933 Don't make a fool out of yourself. So Hyang's voice is thin even when belting, it's just she has utilized her mixed voice to the point that it sounds supported all the time.
