I just finished your Christmas series and learned a lot from it, and thank you for such content and I just want to ask a question and would be appreciable if you guide me as well, So…
I have intermediate level of experience in AE, and I want to take it to the next level (and I'm failing to earn from it!)
so sometimes I ask myself:
1. is it still worth it to learn After effects?
2. Some tips from your side when you were starting out in AE? OR what to do when you're not seeing the results(in the sense of earning, I mean)?

That's awesome to hear! :)
1. Yes it's still a good idea to learn After Effects. It's still the industry standard and isn't going anywhere. And there are so many tutorials and courses out there so learning it for free shouldn't be a problem.
2. I started using AE in 2012 so the whole scene was different back then but I also learned everything just from RUclips and just experimenting with it. When I started out, I wasn't really that good so I also didn't earn so much from it. And right now I'm the Creative Director and Co-founder of my own animation company (www.kinsmen.tv) And how I got here is only by working really hard, and to keep creating cool stuff. When I started out, I did a lot of stuff for free or for very little money just so I could build up my portfolio. I also went to people I knew, family, friends or small business in the area to ask if I could create some stuff for them for free or for very little money. That way, I could work for real clients and have a portfolio with animations I created for actual businesses and not fake ones. That way people notice you and if they're looking at your portfolio, they see that you're actually working for companies so they will trust you more. Getting paid for jobs and making an earning of it is always different based on the place you live in the world I think. I live in the Netherlands so the culture here is very different then for instance in USA or India for example. I would always try to do more than just one animation for a client. When you get a new client to work for, tell them they can let you create one animation for them or they can let you make, let's say, 4 animations spread out over 1 year. When they do that, you can give them a little discount because they are guaranteeing you money for a longer period of time and they get 4 animations for less money. Try to create long term relationships with your clients so you stay in contact with them and keep being on their radar. There is a lot more aI can tell you about this but maybe it's better if I just dedicate a whole video to this subject sometime haha.

What is the shortcut for timeline full screen?
It's called the 'tilde key' It's this one: ~ It's left from the 'z' on my macbook keyboard but it's also often found on the '1' key but holding shift. It works really nice because you can hover with you cursor over any panel in AE and when you press the button, it will fullscreen. Works with every panel :)
