A song that truly captivated the feeling of depression and hopeless thoughts in the lyrics, yet it comforts those who know them well. I have made serious attempts three times and I am still here to of found this song to stay strong to. There is a light in the dark; you just need to move your way past the corner of the wall.
My friend California died of an accidental overdose a few years ago. I always think of her when I hear this song. I miss her everyday. She didn’t deserve what happened to her.

this is the last song i listened to before i attempted suicide last october, and its a miracle i survived since it was really, really serious. so many doctors and nurses struggling to keep me alive. it brings back painful memories, but i almost find comfort in it in a weird way?

yeah, the same with me, Your Heart Is A Muscle the Size of Your Fist was the one i attempted to, and that song still comforts me and makes me happy when i’m down. music is an odd thing, and i’m so glad we have it.

It is a strange feeling to remember past lows and to find solace in those actions. I think my feeling of comfort over the songs I listened to when i felt so low i wanted to die can only come from the fact I am still alive thanks to those that reached out and helped me. I hope anyone reading this finds the peace they need to stay alive. And if that seems unobtainable. Than reach out, to your folks or any family, or friends, or even me (some random online stranger). Talk with your demons and live.

Ceschi is incredible live...but most importantly he creates music that is everlasting. Perfection.
Glad to say I got to see him live last year. He didnt play this song like I hoped he would but he got to play some of his then new music which I'm sure he was excited about. Which makes me happy in a way.

to me its about coping with the death of a friend and questioning what happens with you after death
I took it pretty straightforwardly; as the musings of someone whose friend committed suicide.
Friend jumped off a lighthouse wearing a suit, wondering if the birds that may come across the remains will scatter their remains to a happier place. The beginning 4 lines are a beautiful metaphor.
