Kenny Ausubel - It's the Corporations, Stupid

Bioneers’ founder (back in 1990!), has become renowned for his eagerly-anticipated yearly passionate orations that lay bare with ruthless analysis and humor specific sectors of malfeasance in our society that are seeking to derail progress to protect their wealth and privilege. This year he dissected the history and current machinations of corporations as they exert ever more dominance of our economy and political system and urged us to fully grasp their strategies and to resist and curb the power of these forces of inertia and reaction while we still can.

I don't know how to express my loathing of the corrupt corporations destroying humanity.

From a small wood workshop in Wales, thankyou brother. We are first colonised country by england and still here, just, and awakening to our dormant culture and reverence to nature. It connects us all and is our true path. Its as if we are comming out of one big bender and the hang over and shame is clicking in. We can keep drinking to mask the damage or ride it out and work at it to get clean again.

until "grid-scale" enerty storage is practial, solar and wind cannot provide all energy needs; we could have had non-polluting energy generation with nuclear power plants, but hysteria prevented that (and perhaps military suppression of thorium based power generation?); we should all have foreseen us "painted into a corner" by policy decisions, with fossil fuels seeming essential; but I agree with your criticism of "corporatism"
