You should have the battery fully loaded then the performance is excellent. Most youtube 0-100 videos accelerates when they just switched to sport mode one second ago and the battery is less than half loaded. When you drive in sport mode the system will fully load the battery in 10-15 minutes and will keep it there the rest of the road.
What kind of camparison is it? New tucson acceleration in normal mode is better than in sport mode? 🤔... In sport mode 0/100 Is more or less near 7 seconds

Tucson is being driven in the wet. I have one and the banging noise you hear is when you accelerate hard in the wet and the wheels bounce. This definitely affects the acceleration.
Tucson is heavier than its competitors. Also the transmission (DCT-7) does not feel like a dual-clutch, unlike a DSG-7. Therefore you don't get the impression that you are driving a 230 horsepower car.
How about you learn to pick better times when it's not wet outside and turn that bloody traction control off. I get under 7.3 seconds 0-100 every time with my Tucson. Aren't you supposed to know these things if you're making comparisons and reviewing cars? Like...seriously, that's horrible!
In Sport mode my Tucson Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 kmh in 6.98. Tested las year at the Balocco Test Track in Piemonte.
Did you tune it or sth?
No tuning, that's the real performance in acceleration in ideal conditions with a professional driver at the wheel.

2wd. It doesn't have a sporty DNA, but It Is very performing in acceleration and passing (4.5 seconds in the 80-120 kmh).

I saw 212 on speedometer with my 1.6 T-GDI Without Hybrid 180 HP but I didnt push it anymore. Maybe it has better topspeed

So the Peugeot is a plug-in hybrid with a range of 50 km and the Hyundai tucson is a hybrid that charges itself.
