Yes, Nathan is a family man! Nathan feels like home to Elizabeth! I agree with you that Lucas is an adventurous man! HV was to small a town for Lucas. If Elizabeth had married Lucas, I think Lucas would have eventually made her move to Capital City. Then be all dolled up for high society to socialize with the upper class rich people in society to make the governor look good. Lucas is a politician! 😂 I could see Lucas not allowing Elizabeth to teach either had she married him. Glad Elizabeth realized Lucas was a safe relationship to her. That Elizabeth was in love with Nathan! That Nathan feels like home to her. So thankful that Elizabeth and Nathan are a couple now & Elizabeth broke up with Lucas in S10.

She had chosen it temporarily because it was familiar, safe & comfortable. The lifestyle she left behind in Hamilton with her wealthy parents. I think Lucas reminded Elizabeth of a combination of her wealthy father and Charles Kensington! 😂 😊 Well, remember she turned down Charles proposal because she didn't want that life. Elizabeth was also in love with Jack Thornton! Then Elizabeth regressed backwards to the life she had with her parents & with her friend Charles because it was safe & comfortable with Lucas. Lucas reminded her of her life in Hamilton. 😂 Of course Elizabeth didn't want that lifestyle in the long term. She already walked away from it once! Of course she would admit she wanted to stay in HV and that she was in love with Nathan Grant! ❤ 😊 Typical Hallmark for it to play out this way! 😂 😊 ❤ Of course Elizabeth hurt Nathan because Elizabeth was afraid of a romantic relationship with him because she didn't want to lose Nathan like she lost Jack in the line of duty! Ehat I absolutely love about the scene when Nathan presents his gift of the wooden plaque to Elizabeth is that the little boy that plays baby Jack remembers Kevin making him laugh with his funny faces. He's too young, in this scene at leadt, to know that he's acting in a television show, he just remembers the funny man. He then tries to mimic the face Kevin made that made him laugh. This speaks volumes of the off screen relationship Kevin has with the little man, no matter if it's just little interactions. This just shows how deep the proof goes that Nathan is the perfect choice.
I adore this song and video❤️ it breaks my heart a little that they didn’t move forward after the hug, but obviously they had to work through their issues. I think we all know because she loved Jack so much, she would care what kind of person he would want raising his son- someone who cares for and looks after others and doesn’t try to speak for Elizabeth. Also someone who interacts with his son and doesn’t do shady things in his business dealings.

I have been team Lucas but Nathan is a good man and a good fit. This pretty much spells out the inevitable conclusion of the love triangle. Can’t help feeling badly for Lucas, he is a good man and I believe loves Elizabeth too. I do think that he will handle better in the long run and is well enough integrated into the town to be able to continue as an integral part. I have loved the romantic scenes and the way Lucas supports her.
