I have been at christmas fairs for years without great success until I finally got into my favorite. it is in Denmarks 2 biggest city and I can get to it in half an hour. it is expensive. about 350 pounds for a week but there is a lot of customers and they buy, which was a problem at our local market. the first year I lost about 200 pounds but gained a lot of experience, the second year I lost 30 pounds. but the 3 year I had all my ducks in a row and had a net profit of 1050 pounds. I record what I sell so I can cull the less desirable things and increase the stock of the bestsellers. I have also built a 3d model of the stall so I know exactly where to place everything. I am so ready for christmas in 2021. it is a full stall for 16 days surrunded by old and new friends who are all my kind of crazy. it is an artisans market where you can only sell things you make yourself.
Oh wow thank you so much for sharing your journey with this fair!! I’m so excited for you that you kept going back and improved your set up and products each time!! That really is the thing to do isn’t it!! And now a 16 day event!! How wonderful! I hope you sell lots and lots xx
