Low self esteem often relates to our self image. Very interesting sutra. I agree with your view, my body is amazing and I try to look after it!
    Thanks again Anvita 🙏 🧘‍♀️

Good attempt to explain the sutras.:) In sanskrit there are many meanings to the same word and lot of our ancient texts are not interpreted correctly due to this. You may like to watch the commentaries on Yoga Sutras by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar. Will bring lots of clarity. All the best!

Your personal openion is of little relevance to others who are adequately read.
    Pl reserve them
This sutra indirectly warns us against temptations of seeking psuedo comfort in handling / foddling others bodies.
If we all realise this, there will be lesser harrasment and crime on women sexually
Your explanations are genereally good and i follow them
    Regards

Purification includes non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, ethical conduct, non-coveting, as well as right diet and bodily hygiene ... Internal realization of all of these elevates the mind to the point that attachment to physical pleasures is relativized. The sūtras are not a doctrine - they are the opposite: namely, a guide to independent experience of the effects of right conduct.
