    I hooked up the transformer probes to my kids bed, no more hangovers for him, he is out of bed before the heat come on. Love the Beckett Burner and alligator clips too.

    Morning... my blower runs but hesitated at the start... I need to turn the fan with screwdriver from ignightor box and then it runs... does this mean I need a new motor?. Just replaced the ignightor.. wasnt the problem. Thanks in advanced... great series btw

    Great videos! I have learned a lot. How hard is it to convert an AFB to an AF? I need one for a waste oil burner. Thanks!

    • @stevenlavimoniere
      @stevenlavimoniere  10 лет назад

      urgentcareguy3 waste burners are different ..then home heating burners ..

    • @urgentcareguy3
      @urgentcareguy3 10 лет назад

      Yes, I'm aware. My Beckett will be converted to a babington burner. Clogging is not an issue with this design. The fans are different in the two units. Can these be swapped?

    Hey Steve. On a Beckett Clean Cut A2EA 6527 there are 2 inlet ports, One on the bottom and one on the side. Does it matter which one the supply line connects to ?

    Does the plastic fan housing help the fan performance? Or correct air flow paths?

    Hey Steve I have a beckett burner I've tried to bleed out I have roth oil tank and suction line went bad I replaced it. Now I can't hear the motor run. I can look in threw the draft I don't see it spinning. What could cause the motor not to spin. When I try to bleed it drips out thanks

    I took off a R7284U and when i went to put it back on the wires got knock and i think I got them all put back to the right wire nuts but the red limit wire where does it go. I did it all watching your videos and on training #7 u refer to the swaping the red and black. That's all go but where do they go?

    • @stevenlavimoniere
      @stevenlavimoniere  10 лет назад

      Carroll Cooper well you would have to chace the wires back one should come from high limit problem the red one and the black wire most likely is a constant power for post purge .after the burner is satisfied the burner will run for a pre deturmaned time on post purge .the burner must be wired properly do not mess with it if you are not sure .call a burner man if your not 100% sure what goes were.its not worth dieing over

    How would you know if the inlet is bad? I ran out of fuel about two times. The last time, i put about ten gallons in, but i waited until the morning and when i went to bleed it, nothing came out. I chained the filter n checked the line, and there's fuel in the line. When i take the line off from the inlet, i don't see any. Can the inlet be locked?When i took the pump apart, the screen was like new.

    • @stevenlavimoniere
      @stevenlavimoniere  10 лет назад +1

      you have to blead the air out off pump there is a small bleaded at bottom of pump open a fue turns then run burner till you get a good fow of oil then close .you really should just call a oil burner man someone that know what he is doing

    • @rossdaboss1959
      @rossdaboss1959 10 лет назад

      I hear that! I tried to bleed it, but nothing came. I've bled it many times in the past before. I've changed a few parts before. I've changed the parts inside the burner before and it's been running good for a long time. I know how to clean it out and all. I never had a problem with the inlet and fire mat tic. I'm not sure if that closed off, and blocking the fuel. Thanks for your information. Is there anyway to tell if the fire mat tic is closed?

    • @stevenlavimoniere
      @stevenlavimoniere  10 лет назад

      you might have a blockage it should bleed try it again if it don't work call in a professional

    How long is the coupling without the end caps? Got to make sometime up until the new part comes in. Beckett 2454.

      +rfn944 i buy mine percut for beckett and for carlin

    • @rfn944
      @rfn944 8 лет назад

      Got it going yesterday. The end caps were not damaged, only that black plastic in the middle. Cut a piece of 5/8 heater hose and put the end caps in it and it worked great. Wouldn't trust it as a permanent fix, but at least I have heat again while the new part is on the way.

    I can't believe the sounds they make once the fuel filter disintegrates and gets trapped in the nozzle.

    Hi. Sorry its me again. I posted a short video of my problem under my name. Philip Grombliniak. I wanted to know how to remove blower motor with only an inch and a half clearance on the right(motor side) side. My boiler is hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen(this is the same in all Levittown ranch houses on long Island. You will see in my video the motor is almost against the wall. And you will hear the "clicking "noise the bearing is making. Also at the end of the burner cycle for 1 second as the motor slows to a stop. It sounds like a marble rolling sound. I am hopefull that maybe when I pull the motor out slightly I could get an Allen key in and release the cage. Would you be able to check out my video and advise. If you were closer I would of course have you come and look at it.
