Oh man, that thing is brilliant! It's just wicked through and through, and it sounds amazing! Is there a build series somewhere on this car? You have given me inspiration! It looks like you're living my dream life. Well done, Sir!
I remember the Metoers fondly, they were highly successful in racing. fantastically fast, very light and nimble. looks great. cherish her and take care.
Super cool guy - an Australian Clint Eastwood, haha. That Austin is so nice as are all the others in his collection. Love how he has blended his love of these machines with his home. And that bar! Cheers from California.
Lovely video and a great car. M first car was an Austin 7 1930 which I bought for five pounds. It had no bodywork so I made my own. Still have the original Pitman's handbook.. Of course my metalwork was nothing like yours though I did hand beat out a nice little cowling in the bonnet for the carb. I lost any photos when I moved out here to Argentina sixty-five years ago. We've got gum trees here too - imported from Australia 150 years ago. Thanks for a great movie, I really liked the Simplex extinguisher!!!
How is this online for a year without me finding it?... Love the car. The bloke is right about it too. He made it look A LOT better than the original. I didn't even realise he had an aircraft inspired windscreen on it untill he mentioned it. In the first shots it looked like he had no windscreen at all. That idle sounds great too. It kinda even sounds like a vintage aircraft, or maybe something straight out of Mad Max. Impressive what kind of music you can get out of such a little motor.
Australia? those mounted raptors would be a stiff prison sentence in the U.S. unless they were very old and predated modern law. sweet little ride. subbed.
crazy cool austin
