Couple recent tank tours have showcased that style, and they have come out amazing! Changes your perspective for sure, thanks for dropping a comment! -Blaine
I'm convinced this is the real life incarnation of Vinny from Atlantis. Aaaand I need you to go back and have him do this line from the movie: "Anyway, I guess there was this leak next door of gas or what. BOOM! No more Chinese Laundry. Blew me right out through the front window. It was like a sign from God. I found myself in that boom." 😂 I love that character so much.
That is some fat healty corals and fish thanks to the feeding method and very beautifull and simple setup, but one Q what is going on whit that yellow tang its looks kind of rough in shape
Near the end of the video we chat about it, but that’s one of the very first batches of biota yellow tangs! So it’s an old one, and been around the block once or twice! -Blaine
You can always frag the corals, and bring them in to you LFS as trade value; could even trade amongst other reef keepers too! Too much coral is a good problem for sure! -Blaine
Had no idea they were putting my face on thumbnails too! I’ll take it! Fairly certain they haven’t been to this tank as well, glad you decided to stop in and drop a comment though! -Blaine
I'm so sick of these giant tank showcases all over RUclips. It's the equivalent of tours of millionaires' homes; they're not achievable for most people and give the impression we should all be aiming for giant tanks packed with expensive fish and coral. And let's be honest, at scale you can't appreciate the individual coral and fish so they all end up looking the same 🥱 why don't you feature some more realistic set ups, nano tanks, tanks set up for specific fish or coral? There's gotta me more interesting stuff out there than just another giant tank with the same old coral in it.
Dude he does all kinds of tanks. He just did mine and I am no millionaire. Blaine and I discussed this when he was here in NY. He shot me and my buddies tanks...200 gallon systems...not millionaires! Blaines tours are so informative and he has a great style to them.
@@robertbelvedere835I think op sounds like a whiny squid but I do agree it would be cool to see some nano’s… if someone needs to “buy a new house to put a tank into a wall” that is a bit unrealistic for an every day reefer.
Amazing work Blaine!! These tank tours are addictive!!
Ya'll continue to show off some amazing display tanks. Love it!
This tank shot so well!!! Wow!
Came out amazing! Really becoming proud of what I can do with a camera! Thanks for checking it out Remy!

What an incredible tank was not into wall tanks but man this makes me feel different

Zoster Butterflies very underrated
The butterflies in the tank were unbelievable! So nice to see in a well established system!

Awesome Tank!
It was amazing to see in person, and a joy to share with everyone on the channel!

Kinda easy when you have so many great local fish stores!
Excellent tank tour. I loved this 80/20 mixed reef. What are the water parameters (e.g. nitrate, phos, alk, etc.)
Will work on getting those numbers and get back to you! Thanks for tuning in!
-Blaine
@@TopShelfAquaticsyes please. As its very useful for new hobbyists to get idea od parameters.
That candy cane can't tell if it's a Kryptonite or Gold/Yellow never seen before I may need to ask him for a frag since he's local😅

@@TopShelfAquatics Thanks for the info, oh I see he's a senior 🙏
What sand is he using. Crush coral ?
I believe so! A nice substrate if you are looking to really juice the tank with flow!
-Blaine
Was he running g5 pro?
Running Neptune Skys!

I have a question, what do you do when you have too much coral? I didn't know where else to look and google wouldn't give me a good answer.
You can always frag the corals, and bring them in to you LFS as trade value; could even trade amongst other reef keepers too! Too much coral is a good problem for sure!

How do you clean the glass on the inside without putting your hands in? Magnets aren't enough
Said just doing it routinely every day to help keep that hard to scrape stuff off! Making the scrapers able to manage the load!
-Blaine
Yello tang has bad bacteria infection :(
Straight stole WWC thumbnails lol
Had no idea they were putting my face on thumbnails too! I’ll take it! Fairly certain they haven’t been to this tank as well, glad you decided to stop in and drop a comment though!
