Another issue is passing. They are often too slow that make them so vulnerable for interceptions. Triangle passes back or across the field also became so terrible in last updates. The game doesn't understand to whom I am passing
Oh you're so right. I think it's the passing assist acting up there, especially when passing back. I don't understand why they don't put more weight on the direction you hold the stick while passing instead of the passing power and on the other hand use the passing power to actually matter for the passing power instead of mattering for choosing the player who receives the ball. The slow pass is good for those tiki taka players, but still we want to be able to pass faster sometimes. They could have let Stunning Pass do that thing, but unfortunately, stunning pass is too slow in getting executed. Would be nice if stunning pass execute way faster for 30℅- 40℅ strength, maybe very close to like the regular pass.

Regarding speed, one way to deal with it would be to make passing ratings more important. Like, if they're not in the 90s then those through balls should be less accurate more often than not
I agree! Passing ratings seem to have too low of an impact, especially so since the passing assist level has big influence.
I want to add to this list another big issue. It is how players do "first time" feints when they recieve the ball. I personally really like this prebuffering technique when you execute a double touch or marselle turn or fake shot right before recieving the ball. It's very effective and beatiful way to fool the defenders. But 40% of time the ball will bounce 3 meters away even from Neymar of Messi with ball control 90+
I agree, I think this was added in update 3.2 or 3.3. I specifically remember that the knock-ons suddenly had a failure rate when using them at first touches that I didn't notice before. I mean it's fine if they want to make the shots weaker, but then just make them less likely to score instead of making players who are known for their ball control unable to handle the ball.
I disagree about the free reset. The point of the game is to build your team by collecting cards. If you can just freely change the stats of your players, then there's no point in doing that. What we absolutely need though is: cheaper reset (a lot cheaper), free reset after we sign a player for like a month (for that player only) and free reset for every player after major gameplay changes
I could live with that if they changed it the way you suggested!

Quite surprising you didn't mention cursor switch, which in my humble opinion has been of hell of a nightmare; it simply doesn't have any standards and to make it even worse R3 switch has not been adjusted, sometimes even though you're aiming at a certain player, it looks like you can't reach him out in time. I know, it's a matter of miliseconds, but we may concede a goal due to momentum

Grüß dich Pepe, excellent video highlighting some of the worst things in efootball. Another thing I hate is the freezing when a player loses a duel, or when he is just waiting for the ball to arrive at his feet after a pass was made in his direction.
Danke dir! Yeah this is super funny, especially when you super cancel a player away from an aerial duel, the player can still "lose" this duel from a bit away and gets stuck in an "I-try-to-do-a-header"-animation with the ball being nowhere near😀
The second thing you mention is really weird, the problem is I have no idea what causes it and as it doesn't happen often enough, it's hard to prepare for it and super cancel to manually move the player.

1. Progression points free for only new players that we recently got. A month or at least a few weeks to really get a feel of it.
2. Defender faster than Striker, whats the point of having 90+ speed when a 80+ speed can catch up. Thats the reason why the game should be more realistic. A speedster should be very carefully guard.
It become a mess when Konami starts to make everyone LIKE MBAPPE.... 90 even 100.
3. I hate when my opponent wasted time by playing the ball and taunting just because he is ahead in scoring.
There should be a time limit before the player got a warning like yellow card, just like in the real game.

Thanks! I agree they need to do something with progression points. Sometimes we need to wait so long to change it and we don't even know when exactly it's coming. Like as you said we basically have to decide on a new player that we've never even played before. Point 2 was the most upvoted one the last video, so it seems the majority agrees with you there💪

yes lofted through passes are useless bcs of the freezes
For me is definetly everything about passing. They just insist for 3 years to have the same bullshit passing mechanics.
Normal basic passing do not go through and get intercepted constantly. Thats not football.
Through passes to the running path of the receiver is not existent. The passer insists to pass the ball directly to the foot of the reicever which again always causes interceptions. Its favoring the opponent instead your own player. Who would do that? why we cannot use empty spaces? Makes no sense.
the passing speed another problem.
You fill the bar to the red line and your player just barely touches the ball to the next player of course it gets intercepted. Its not even a pass.
On another position you keep the bar low and he passes the ball way to hard.
In positions where you need a hard long pass the ball is played slow and vice versa. Its so frustrating.
Another issue is that the system insists to use the outside foot in almost every shoot and pass.
Imagine you are left footed you are just outside the box, you can curl the ball into the net with your left foot. Your posture is showing that youre about to use your left foot, the ball is in perfect position for your left foot . But what is the system doing -> it uses the right foot. 🤦🏻♂️

I think if you really want to use passes into the empty space you have to use pass assist 4, otherwise, it sadly will always be the way you described it. It acts especially weird when passing backwards. Also agree with how weird the power bar is, the entire passing system needs to be improved in my opinion.
@@PESPepe sadly if i use pass assist 4 and pass to the empty space the animation of the receiver does not recognize the command most of the time..

There is no tournament like WL in FIFA, where for a large number of victories we could get a spin with a chance for some epic, but not with 140 Japanese, but let’s say 1 out of 10 players, of which 1 random epic and 9 highlights...
There is no market where you can sell players at least for GP, and buy for gold or e-points (so that the konami would also have an incentive to create such) cards that you don’t need, or maybe someone else needs, but you need GP to level up your skills or extend the contract...

You forgot to mention the scripting/handicap whatever you want to call it. The obvious kickoff goals and fact once you go one nil up your team literally turn into idiots. Unable to make simple passes, trap ball or win tackles. It’s the most annoying part of this game for me. I understand opponents get it too depending on the game but Konami need to get rid of it or make it less obvious

It's just so bad that this thing happens while doing these lob through passes 😅
It's unfair bcz even a player like etoo or big time messi would miss it due to this thing.
On the other hand if we compare lofted through passes of eafc with efootball, these passes are nothing 😂.
But at the end let me tell you something which i discovered on my own about these passes.....
Idk if it is in the gameplay or whatever it is , when you press L1, R1( special controls button) and lofted pass button ( triangle) ... All these 3 at same time there are very very very high chances for your player to receive the ball ...
I have observed the difference between normal lofted through pass and this weighted lofted through pass ( i myself think that it has something to do with weighted pass skill)
And yes this happens try this thing and hope you will find it working🫡

I've heard about the pass you mentioned from Rockchok a few weeks ago, have only tried it a few times myself. I did notice that something seemed different but couldn't really make out what and why yet. Cool to see others knowing about it as well👍

- Animation is not smooth enough..looks robotic. Need more frames for movement. And player ID seems to be missing for many. They look so generic.
- defense is still over automated and sometimes interception is unrealistic. Defender are Overpowered. Not sure if momentum is implemented correctly for defender.. Their continuous pressing and agression needs to be penalized with it's stamina.
- sometimes, they make stupid passes even in obvious pass situation.
- the graphic is a joke in 2024. I don't know why the game looks like a 2.5D to me and not 3D.
About the second point, for some patches, it definitely seems like defenders have way too few momentum/inertia and are able turn instantly. I think that was actually one of the reasons why marseille turn wasn't working as well anymore all of a sudden.
Passes, as you said, can be really really weird sometimes, especially if you pass backwards.
