This is easily one of the best games for the Wii when it comes to how the game handles the controller
My favorite Wii game or at least my most played, lost it years ago along with my wii

Has the best fist fighting in any game ever on Wii with the Wiimote & Nunchuck. I spent 40+ hrs not playing the story but just fighting anyone and everyone

They need to remake this series and remake it for the switch!!
As long as it's still fun as hell to grab someone and beat the crap out of them with motion controls. I swear that's all I did in this game & it was worth every penny
Streaming it for 7h last couple of days in total, can confirm, it's an amazing game, esp for the Wii Era. Would recommend 10/10.
Took me about 1-2hours to get used to the controls but having a blast now!
you haven't played godfather wii edition if you did not act tough in front of the tv, pretend to walk away and then smash the store owner's stuff.

The only sad thing about this game is that the man who played don coleonly died when this game came out and only some of his voice is in this game

Yeah, I really enjoyed this game as a teen, and I find myself coming back to it frequently many years later. As you said, some of the dialogue is corny, and the plot can be convoluted at times, but it does have the feel and aura of the Godfather universe.
and I'd really love a remastered version.

Probably have the best controls out of all the versions.
The gunplay combat looks dope .. thinking if I should get this and Scarface on Wii

@@redharlow3723 Good shit. Scarface is really awesome Vidya, between it and The Godfather I probably spent upwards of 300h of my early childhood playing them together. Check out GUN, if you haven't already. I fondly remember my time with Saints Row 1 and 2 as a teenager, didn't even know another one was due to come out. Enjoy the ride!
I loved this game in high school. Had it on PS2. Have it on Wii now and have yet to play it with motion controls. Should be interesting.

This game was my childhood
I 100% this on wii.. Both this and bully used the controls so well.. The triggers to grab a person by the neck and than each mote for individual punches.. It was so good
