Same, I just cannot understand how and why she is not known worldwide. She is not us famous as some other artists, but she is already way higher level then most of them. Is it producer missed something, or not enough budget .. Or maybe she doesn't want.. Who knows?

I think this video fits perfectly, because it's about people who lose faith and meaning in their life, because of the problems each of them has. She sings for example: "Must have been sharper underneath, cause there where scars I couldn't undo".
Often times this emptyness turns into frustration and anger. It's an expression of feeling lost and that you're giving up on yourself. That's why she sings: "what were you thinking? Why did you let go?"
So the violence in this Video shows that these girls are broken inside. When you feel empty you at least try to feel something. And acting violent is always connected with strong feelings. But it expresses also the anger you feel towards and within yourself.
Loreen also expresses the confusion your loved ones have when they can't avoid that you feel and act that way, or that you gave up on yourself.
The car hitting in the end is the climax of that process. When you feel that your life has no sense at all you begin to do risky actions, because at a curtain point you don't care anymore if you're alive or not. So the death is the outcome of this process in a way.
Thank you so much for this! I couldn't get the whole point of the video and it kinda felt that it didn't fit with the song, but in the way you explained it it's just perfect and captures the deep meaning of this incredible song...
I absolutely love Loreen themes in her videos. They always have this dark, cold and blue vibe and the content is very interesting and intriguing too. It left me with a lot of questions too the general story, but as a fellow artist you do not have to always comprehend what you are seeing. I love that her music feels so free and that the lyrics are always like someone is there supporting you no matter what. I love this❤

Not many people understand the video, it’s about unity and feeling so strong inside, in it with you no matter what, I think Loreen did a beautiful job of that, everyone from a social media perspective wants to see a lovely video along with this song, but Loreen’s style isn’t like that, she’s the only one for me who isn’t afraid of perusing her style either... it’s about the real and raw, confessing her feelings from a toughened perspective, not everything in this world is all rainbows, I give her much more credit for addressing a video like this than a softer one. Contrary to popular opinion, I actually find this "budget" music video authentic and complementing to the song itself. I admit I was very surprised by the rebellious and explicit nature of the video but since the song is directed to society, rather than relationships, it makes sense for Loreen to convey the concept of being in a situation with someone, rather than standing on the outside, sympathizing (which re-introduces the element of civil courage emphasised in e.g in HEAL) through racial, cultural and sexual fraternity between this young group of fed-up women. I understand that the anger comes from a place of hurt and manifests itself through vandalisation (Loreen said herself that "everybody bleeds on the inside and that frustration and rebellion is not something exclusive to males). My appreciation for this video grows with each day, because we are in need more sisterly love among women AND men and the "I'm in it with you"- video portrays this struggle with disregard to race, religion or sex.

I can totally understand the dislike of this video. When I first watched it I had mixed feelings. I didn't know if I liked it or not. I read some comments and then thought I'd watch again. But, before I watched, I read the lyrics. I now LIKE the video and understand the idea behind it.Here's my take:Life is unfair. Every one of us has gone through something. Every one of us has felt some sort of injustice at one point or another. What this video showed was youthful rebellion. Rebellion against whatever you feel has wronged you. If we don't rebel againstinjustice we get no result. That's why the Anarchy. It's about freedom. About loyalty. About unity, I get it. Shit happens.
About loyalty, indeed...BLIND loyalty, and how it can cause lots of pain and get you into lots of trouble. That seems to be the most obvious point of Loreen's video.

the music video is excellent in my opinion. it is about peer pressure and how the people around us can bring out the worst in us. it's about how we put our necks on the line to save things that aren't worth saving.

Actually this video is very accurate with the song and the lyrics. It is not promoting being badass or girl power at all. Albeit it is criticizing. It is all about the person who lost his will and hope and since has have given up on his life turn into violence and stupid things. And Loreen is kinda criticizing "Why did you let it go, I was always here when you need." It is all about not to give up on yourself and lose hope. Because when you look inside you will always find the light who would help. This video is brilliant and genius. A true work of art!
Thank you very much, this is what I also was thinking! I think it expresses the anger they can't hold within themselfes, because of what happened in their life. It's like if they felt kind of lost and don't have hope anymore. I think everyone who really has been to that place of giving up on you, knows perfectly that this Video isn't nonesense at all!

I love the video, its extremely meaningful and it goes perfectly with the song. she's in it with her friends, showing how much of a bad influence they are to each other, in the end when she slams her friend with the car could mean a lot of things, carelessness, jealousy, or a mistake etc. Phenomenal video simple and meaningful.

I haven't been able to stop listening to this song (and the rest of her songs) ever since it came out this summer and when I saw that there finally was a video clip I was like "YAYYY!!" but like all of you I am disappointed and totally agree that, at least to me, it definitely doesn't fit to the song, the melody or the lyrics. But anyway, the video clip is not the most important thing, what matters the most is the song and her also voice which both make me speechless.... Just soooo beautiful !! I wish I could see her in live someday !! Love Loreen !!

I think the mood harmonize pretty much with the song. That said, the song impresses me more than the video itself. But for those who understands it, it's a work of art. She don't support vandalism, she try to tell about frustration, the need to break free from the strict society or something like that. But it could have been expressed better, yes.
