S34 Road traffic Act 1988 Driving a mechanically propelled vehicle elsewhere than on a road. Unless he picked it up and placed it on the footway he has committed a crime. Even if he did he is still parked illegally and obstructing the Queens highway so he should put his own house in order.

I don't speak to them even if they identify themselves, I'll be polite enough at first but where I come from anyone approaching and questioning you is not taken lightly, for the simple fact it's none of their fucking business and unless/until I commit a crime, nobody has any reason to be anywhere near me, let alone reeling off questions trying to find out everything they can, it's something nobody with good intentions does. Only someone looking to sell you something, or fine you for something digs around like that with complete strangers uninvited.

Enjoyed the video served my time on the yard 1980 intake, left home (Barrow) early nineties.
Interesting to see how things have changed. In my memory I remember that part of the dockside full of small shops, welders leckies etc, our workshop on reactor squad, also their used to be a but where apprentices went Friday afternoon to complete log books for the week. All before the DDH.
Still get back to see my parents, but rarely venture down to the yard, quite shocked by all the changes to the dockside.
    Thanks for sharing, appreciated.

Keep doing a good job, but goodness you chatter almost non-stop. That doesn’t help you and can only hinder you if you say something the police can try to use as an excuse to take further (likely unlawful) action against you. Try talking less as you’re not under an obligation to justify your lawful activity.

I meant first, ever. LOL they know they're pushing people to breaking point that's why they're paranoid. They know pretty soon people will be taking to the streets looking to completely strip them and the government of their power to fuck us as they have done for decades. And they fucking should be. History has long since proven we are very close to having a revolution or a civil war, it's happened time and time again and for far less tyranny I might add. So how many workers of BAE worked there for 35 years as a fitter? Her pencil was happily scribbling away to narrow down who you are, and get it from RUclips if necessary. Then you're on a list, then try and leave the UK, or enter other countries whilst on that watch list ! Why are the police worried about the security of corporations, but not the safety of children ?

Can anyone remember what the climate was like back in the 70's when the IRA were bombing the mainland ! ?

It’s been said already. Too much talking, not enough silence. You have no obligation to give out your info whilst doing a legal activity.

You really need to get yourself a windsock and ideally a backup camera for when you're showing footage to police.

My dad used to work at Salford docks , I too have an interest in docks . Seeing ocean going ships coming 40 miles inland was fascinating. These guys are paranoid they see a British amateur photographer with a dog ( usually) taking photos in a public area . Why do they feel they need to do an investigation.
