You're very brave to talk about brands you don't like & did it in a respectful manner. Some people just make reviews to take the money or free products, so I appreciate an honest influencer. I wanted to ask if you ever tried Teddy Blake purses? During the pandemic, I saw a lot of smaller influencers advertise them as "luxury without the price tag," but I haven't seen anyone talk about it in years since the restrictions lifted. I always wondered if it's a good brand or people were just hurting for money lol.
Hm, I have many ??? now. I own three Polene Bags from 2023/2024. The Un nano, camel smooth leather, the Tonca textured in cognac and the Neuf textured in sandalwood. Besides that I don‘t like the opening of all three (I have big hands), they are gorgeous. Outstanding designs, not copied from well known designers. Great leather quality. Top notch craftsmanship. I have two Songmonts, the Luna in textured black and the Tofu in smooth caramel. Taxes are included (I am in Germany). They are beautiful and well made, but the leather… no leather smell, and I think they feel a bit like plastic, especially the Luna. I have the same RSVP in black, and it is just cute. I would prefer the little knobs in matt gold but wehen you pull off the plastic they are shiny as a mirror. The worst expensive bag I ever got is the Demellier Vancouver. You look at it and it is scratched like hell. The hardware is so terrible. I wore it once, just for a little shopping in only one shop - scratched. From sitting in the car, I guess. I will never buy an other Demellier. The Atelier August Monceau has great hardware. No scratches. The smooth leather is wonderful and wears surprisingly well. Sometimes smooth leather holds up great. You never can tell. I have an old Prada wallet which I really throw around and stuff even with my phone for years now - no problems.
I soSoSO appreciate you & your honesty. I'm also cool with you not sharing brands everyone else does - I'm so over many of them. I've ordered from The Horse, waiting for its arrival. I sure hope it's perfect - great quality. TFS&I 🧡🍂 p/s I would give you 100 YT thumbs up if I could, for your honesty. 🥰
Loved this video and your honesty! I purchased a polene bag a few years back and ended up selling it because I just didn't love it. Ended up just recently picking up a Songmont bag and love the feel of the bag!
I own the Clementine and the mini clementine from The Horse. I love both of them. I’m interested in hearing why it’s a no for you at the moment. Great bag reviews!!
Imo some Polene bags still are worth it. I had the Mini Cyme tote and the Numero Dix but ended up selling them both for functional reasons, they just weren't big enough for what I was using them for. The quality was beautiful on both though. Recently added the Mokki to my collection and it's so gorgeous. The leather feels very thick & substantial, not flimsy and overall the finishing (stitching, edge glazing, shape) is perfect. I love the smell of the leather and compared to my comtemporary (Coach, Tory Burch, etc) and luxury $3k+ bags, the Mokki is quite impressive for the price.
Really appreciate your honesty! I see so many of these brands on RUclips. I have several Cuyana pieces and also own a RSVP bag. I agree with your reviews on both! I have had some of my Cuyana pieces for years and they are in great shape! I love the styles from Songmont so good to know that the quality is there.
when I was in Paris last year, I chose to not get a wish list bag from Polene. The quality had been going down and the price went out. So frustrating but I’m happy I made the choice I did
I wish there were more influencers like yourself who are transparent . Yr vid should be viral . The only polene that I have , bought a few years ago is the numero un nano in camel. The leather is amazing and that is the only piece that I have . The quality has since gone down with price increases are just insane ! Am from Singapore and haven’t heard of Aupen . I don’t see the brand being sold here though . I just stick to what I have in my collection which was bought a few years back and of course Coach which has never failed me. Would love to hear your thoughts on the Korean brand bags which I heard the quality is good for their price point.
Great video! I bought one Polene bag, the Numro Dix, and sold it because it was so darn structured like a box hitting my side. I don’t mind some structure but this one was too much so. I did find the quality to be good though. I’m excited to look into the 2 brands you love. 💕
I appreciate you so much for talking about what’s not good!! I really wanted to get the aupen bag but they seem like a big PR stunt, especially when they said they were going out of business a few months ago 😮
Really like the songmont tote, in fact most of their stuff, but that suede was gorgeous. I pretty much stick to being a Coach girl, like wayyyyy too many, but I do like Hammitt and my Cuyana tote is very soft and squishy.
Quite aggree with Polène here. They do improved alot with their quality and tannering throughout the years nontheless. But the main issue people have is the fear of missing out, due to the fact that LVMH has invested into the company, to have the opportunity to become one of the pioneers before the brand is increasing their final prices. Same happened with the Longchamp Le Pliage in the late 1990s, when demand skyrocketed.
I love your suede handbags, and I love the round one the black one they’re very beautiful bags And I love you. I think you’re very beautiful young lady and you take good care of yourself. Keep up the good work. I watch your videos quite a bit. I like watching them. I learn from them.
Thanks for your honest reviews. Polene has had such a variable review that I’m too afraid to buy from them. I think they were great in the past before they got really popular but now it seems like a lottery whether you get good quality leather or not. I was really interested in Parisa Wang bags but somehow never pulled the trigger and now glad that I didn’t after your review. Another bag I see gifted and hyped by RUclipsrs is Demellier. I bought a midi Monntreal in smooth beige leather and didn’t like the quality or workmanship. Sent it back straightaway. Sometimes I don’t know if it’s a particular bag style, maybe it gets made in a different factory so that one bag in a specific style and colour may have a different quality to another bag from the same brand.
Omg I would work with the Horse in a heartbeat. If I was an influencer lol. The Clementine bag is my current fave- well priced and the bag is gorg. I’m just as happy using it as I am using my Loewe, LV, Chanel, etc bags. ❤ edit to add: I bought the songmont song bag in 2022 and it was an immediate return 😢 The leather was so plasticky and the overall bag felt cheap and poorly made. Maybe the leather varies depending on style.
Agree with Atlier Auguste. I got one in Paris as a souvenir and loved the caramel color, but it doesn’t fit much. It’s my only structured bag, I have it and use it a lot for fall, but it’s not as enjoyable to use as my “smushy” bags. Glad i have it, will not buy another structured bag again.
Omg you are so honest, i want to love Parisian wang too. But one thing stop me is when this one influencer intentionally skipped my comment asking about the alleged smell of the bag. That rubs me the wrong way now after seeing closely to her videos it seems she failed to mention “gifted” nature of her videos. For me thats a hidden commercial
Great video: thoughtful and honest. I have been hearing a few negative things about Polene lately and that bag you showed sure looks like a dud. I’ve held off. I have had the mini Monceau in the cognac for about a year and I love it. Definite Celine vibes and perfect for me when I don’t carry much. I wear mine cross body. Also just recently received my RSVP golden eyes. Mine is the one without the top handle, also black. Agree, the leather is awesome. I love the little touches. Mine is numbered on the front: 214 from a 500 run. Love it! Going to check out Cayuna again…
Very much appreciate videos of this nature. You did it with honesty, grace and respect… also loved your GG earrings they mesmerised me…Are they heavy to wear?
Really appreciate this level of transparency. Can I ask how well the toteme belt hobo has held up for you now you have used it a bit? Hard to find reviews on it.
If you ever get the chance to try a Lo and Sons bag they are an Asian woman owned brand and have really great functional bags. I now have 5 and love them!
Agree Polene is not worth value for money anymore as Ive seen they increased their bag prices a lot more. I bought a numéro un nano bag in 2022 and only worn about a dozen times. The glazing on the edge already chipping off and the leather wasn’t what I thought it would be. At the price of under eur300 at the time I bought it I would say it was reasonable but not now with their pricing. LVMH will hype it up more and increase the marketing around the brand but the quality won’t be that great either. There are better brands out there for the same or similar price point. In a way the affordable luxury bag market is starting to get saturated.
Hi, new here & admiring your honesty. The Polene damage is shocking. Why, I wonder, did Tanner L give them his seal of approval? What's your opinion re The Horse?😊🌻
Ateliers Auguste reminds me of Celine in the sense of styling. Hopefully you’ll done a give away on the bag in the video (or maybe sell it? I’ll gladly pay the courier cost.😉)
Surprised about Parisa Wang especially the smell comment. In your review of Parisa Wang bags video you said the bucket bag specifically had no smell just a normal leather smell... no mention of a plasticky smell...
Just watched back my video. I think what I said was that compared to the other Madison bag I had shown, this one didn’t have as much of the plastic/rubber smell. But, compared to my other leather handbags, it most definitely does.
This white bag you hold in the video is not the Polene Cyme bag but a dupe. I own this bag, and the handle and the dimensions look significantly different. Mine is in camel color, and it is very practical and durable. The quality is very good. I believe you have a knock-off.
You're very brave to talk about brands you don't like & did it in a respectful manner. Some people just make reviews to take the money or free products, so I appreciate an honest influencer.

Thank you for being honest. Honesty from an influencer is rare and a breath of fresh air. ❤

Respect for your honesty and taking the time to revisit these pieces
Appreciate your experiences & sharing with us as usual, your candor is right on time with holiday shopping around the corner 👑💎🤩
I’m so glad I can help you avoid some expensive mistakes! 😂

*xbagy* really knows how to highlight the best parts of each bag. Your videos are so helpful!
Thank you for your honest review! So glad i didn't jump on Parisa Wang
I own the Clementine and the mini clementine from The Horse. I love both of them. I’m interested in hearing why it’s a no for you at the moment. Great bag reviews!!
I’ll stick to Coach, quality and affordable
Coach is an amazing heritage brand that is definitely know for its leather
I like it that u have consideration for real quality and openly share it🎉 thank you :)

Same! I was looking forward to the Paris trip and thought of getting one or two, but the quality in boutique put me off

I actually ordered my first Songmont last week and am excited to get it even more after listening to you
Product quality is important. Thank you for sharing.❤
Thanks for your honest reviews! ❤️
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback regarding these brands❤
Of course! I'm glad you found it useful!💕
Great video! I bought one Polene bag, the Numro Dix, and sold it because it was so darn structured like a box hitting my side. I don’t mind some structure but this one was too much so. I did find the quality to be good though. I’m excited to look into the 2 brands you love. 💕
I understand what you mean about that structure! I'm glad you found the quality good though! Maybe my Cabas was a just a one off!
I appreciate you so much for talking about what’s not good!! I really wanted to get the aupen bag but they seem like a big PR stunt, especially when they said they were going out of business a few months ago 😮

I’d happily accept the Atelier Augustę bag if you’re giving it away 😅😍 wonderful to see honesty within this luxury world ❤ sending best wishes

Really appreciate this level of transparency. Can I ask how well the toteme belt hobo has held up for you now you have used it a bit? Hard to find reviews on it.
Why have you decided not to work with the Horse? I like their bag that is similar to the puzzle bag.
If you ever get the chance to try a Lo and Sons bag they are an Asian woman owned brand and have really great functional bags. I now have 5 and love them!
You’re right! I own one of their convertible cross body bags and I love it!!!
Do you know if you have to pay duties when ordering from Songmont? I’m in Canada too
Thx for the transparency! I love the atelier august sully bag! How do I enter to win that? 😊 checking out Songmont.
Is the drippy tote very heavy? It’s a gorgeous bag, love that there’s some suede to it.
It’s not heavy, which is surprising!
Thanks! What didn't you like about Elleme?

So glad I didn't buy polene!!! I've been seeing it everywhere !
Always appreciate your videos! Curious why you chose not to promote OLEADA?
Same!
I love the Songmont bag
Oh I'd love to know why you chose not to work with the brands you listed in the beginning! Been thinking about the horse, oleada, and beracamy
Especially beracamy since it is owned by women of hakka Chinese descent
how about lalage beaumont bags?
I know when it’s PR they just show it for money and never carry it ever again
This white bag you hold in the video is not the Polene Cyme bag but a dupe. I own this bag, and the handle and the dimensions look significantly different. Mine is in camel color, and it is very practical and durable. The quality is very good. I believe you have a knock-off.
No, this was directly from Polene. It is the Cabas which was later replaced by the Cyme.
Oleada is a great bag
Polene was highly recommended by Tanner Leatherstein for the quality/cost. Lol
Wow really surprised by the Polene given the hype. I’ve never seen one in real life but definitely won’t bother. It even looks horrible on the camera.
Thank you for your video, I look forward to them and your reviews! You're very clear and concise sometimes the "um" is very pronounced =p
Oh my goodness, watching this back now all I can hear are the “umms”! I think I was nervous filming this video, hence all the um’s 🤦🏻♀️
The Polene bag looks awful! It does not make any sense .
