I wish you all the best in your new chapter of life. You will be successful for sure. Your mom taught you well. I send blessings to you and your family.
@MelanatedwithPower Yes, I absolutely love her hair and she is a very beautiful girl. Black people are beautiful in all shades and with all of our range in features. Ashley and her baby girls are beauties indeed. ❤️🖤💚
My sis went to boarding school in Jamaica back in the late 80's and she loved it. I can't wait to hear about Zhaeniya's experiences when she comes home for break. I'm so excited for her!
This decision was a brave one indeed! When I was young, I too wanted to go to boarding school. When I became a mother, I realized that I couldn’t make that decision for my children, (5). This is our time now with our children. Most of their lives they will be adults and moved away and building their own lives. Right now is my gift. Kudos to you, I know that it can’t be easy. Best wishes for a positive and successful experiences!😊
So happy for you, Z! You remind me so much of my daughter (16 Y.O.). Peace and blessings on your journey to boarding school! And kudos to you mom for bringing this to fruition 🙏🏾
Ashley, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! Zhaeniya, fika salaama, study hard, master Swahili this move is the fulfillment of Mwalimu's dream to bring the diaspora home. We know you will excel. Sending you so much love. You are beautiful in spirit and in form. Go with God. Continue to make Mama proud.
Thank you Aunty Sandra. We are grateful for our ancestors, their covering along this journey, and your affirming prayers. Zhaeniya has made me so proud already.
Love seeing you and your children enjoying the luxury of emotional prosperity being there on the continent. Appreciate you sharing your experiences. Love, Blessings, and Positive Vibrations from California! ❤
I know you have a village out here but please know that you have a back up to the back up backing you up here in Dar. If ever she needs ANYTHING, we are here. ❤, Stacy
This is wonderful. Seems she is naturally aligned with Tanzania. I also went to boarding school and learnt a sense of independence very early almost the same age of 13. She is already independent by what have observed. I think it will also build her more and define her more unique character by the whole experience of being away from family. All the best to her
Sounds like Mom was trying to make her miss her king size bed and her own bathroom 😭🤣 I don't think YOU want her to go. She ready to be free 🤣very mature and she's gonna be fine wherever she goes. 💯❤️
I'm South African and I'll be doing research on how to immigrate to Tanzania. South Africa feels to hard and feels like it's hindering me in seeking true beauty in life. Things feel so artificial here. I desire authenticity and I can't seem to find it here and I'm born South African
Thank you for loading If I wasn't sick and dying I would have left this country a long time ago I'm very sick and probably dying and then I'm disabled also so I'm glad that you were able to leave

Ashley your daughter is extremely mature and as a mother who raised teens and surrounded by teens of this generation they don't all share the same emotional traits....she may be a bit more reserved or even shy....I can tell she is well adjusted ....keep up the good work and best wishes on school and all future endeavors.

Would like to see you doing interview with Mr Mark Meets Africa, (Africa America living Dar es salaam)
South African schools are shallow and have lost the culture. Very materialistic. I hope Tanzania will be better for your child.
Beautiful daughter study, and learn a lot of great things enjoy.

Teen doesn't seem happy about something. Could it be boarding school?
Are you raising a teenager in this generation??
@@AshleyinAfrika No. And if I was Im pretty sure I would keep them close.
