You know you’re unbeatable when you can beat a man who launches bulls into the sky for fun, a literal Hollywood Star, and the World Circuit Champion who literally beats everyone else into the ground.

And a guy whose gloves are loaded with HORSEHOES
and launches a russian man into the air who said russian is soda popinski with a one star uppercut
And a dude that can somehow be allowed to use magic in combat to teleport or make illusions.

Can we just acknowledge how crazy strong Little Mac is?? At 10:03 he launches Soda into the air at least 5 feet from one uppercut. Soda is like what 6’5 200+ pounds right? Like god damn

I love how half the characters get knocked down once and the ref calls the match right after the special animation. They know they are not coming back from that.
Or how the ref calls the knockout before they actually fall
I mean the ref would know when Glass Joe goes down. He’s seen it 99 times

I mean 7:03 this guy basically got punched into another dimension
That's the difference between a KO and a TKO: a regular KO is when the opponent is unable to get up before the count of ten, a TKO (technical knockout, not TOTAL knockout as most people think) is decided when the referee, manager, ringside doctor, etc. determine that the opponent is unable to continue.
14:15 I love that Doc at first he seems nervious by Mr Sandman but he gets reliefed when he saw Little Mac determinated

I love how the ring themes are changed to sound like the country the fighters are from
It's a really nice touch. Kinda like NSMBU and its hub world theme
it's a total crime that they omitted Mario as a refereee. The game feels too americanized, character designs are hit and miss. Plays great though! and title defense was just awesome. But there's something missing from the presentation that i can't put my finger on, and the soundtrack was kind of iffy...Plus, the boxing rings are usually dismal and lifeless. I think Super Punch-out!! has aged much better in the visual department.
@@NeonPizza80s I more consider that to be personal preference. The character reactions and way they move feel like they're real here, well, as much as they can be, and I like that.

Mario blended in perfectly in the NES original. I dont know, I feel NextLevl once again was off the mark with the art direction. It just doesn't feel like a JPN game, or the route the big N would of taken. I personally would of loved to of seen some sort bizarr Will Vinton styled claymation aesthetic

I like how Soda Popinski's sound queue sounds like a can of soda being opened.

I think it's funny they made Glass Joe's entrance of him tripping his normal entrance, while the entrance where he's introducing himself without tripping is the rare entrance.
All these comments and I didn't see a single one that mentions Von Kaiser saying "Mommy..." as the star punch is launched.
One thing I noticed about Soda Popinski is that in title defense his movements sound a lot more mechanical. Like each time he throws a punch theres a mechanical sound alongside it.
This could means he is a robot or robot'ish guy??

That’s in the TD fight, yes, after his Berserker Rage (which is 14 wink uppercuts in a row), he’ll be stunned for the rest of the match

I tried playing this for the first time in five years, and you make this look easy. I don't remember the World Circuit fighters being so tough. I don't know if I'm simply out of practice or if something's wrong with the Wii Mote that the D-pad doesn't respond like it should.

I noticed this a long time ago when I would play this game on the wii, but not sure if anyone else has noticed it too. I seen that the timer counts down way faster than what an actual second is lol.
