I have a question, would it be alright to put Loctite thread locker 243 blue, to have it stay in place? I did the method with the wrench's and after one trip to the range, it unscrewed itself after 10 or so shots.
If you want to avoid getting cement on your locking nut, put it on first with dry threads. Then add the cement and screw your muzzle brake on to its proper position and back the locking nut onto it.

Does the locking nut lock the muzzle from spinning so the one of the two flat surfaces are pointed up?
