Mummy la was a frequent guests in our home in Gangtok, Sikkim because my late father was one of her benefactors. He had built for her a tiny cottage in Rumtek so that she could be close to her teacher, the majestic XVI Galwang Karmapa. As a kid, I remember her showing me a poster of a tall bearded man in a bandana and saying that he was her son. Now I know it was Kabir Bedi from the Italian TV series “Sandokan” . She was indeed a remarkable lady and an accomplished spiritual being. 🙏🙏🙏

We get to know more about your mother, who contribute so much at that very difficult time. Due to her connection and resource, helped many Rinpoches, Lamas and Nuns. There should be a story about her, she was the angel in the time of our distress. Thank you Mummy La for her great compassion and contribute for the Tibetans and Buddhism. 🙏☸️🪷
Wonderful interview, as Tibetans we can focus in on our role in the continuation of the Tibetan mission, but it must begin not by gathering crowds but in the solitude of our consciousness 🙏🏽
