Hi Ian. I have just come across your video on marinating olives and I feel compelled to comment. Olives must be cured by various means before they can be eaten. You say they can be eaten immediately or in a few days. Not true. Green olives (in particular) need to have the bitterness removed over about a week (min) in various ways before they are suitable to eat. You cannot just take olives from a tree, place them in a jar with oil and spices and just eat them. Your marinade is great. Sam :)
Ha! I wondered if anyone else thought that this guy could very nearly be Michael Palin in disguise. They were all great, but he was my favourite Python. His voice and facial expressions are absolutely hilarious. And now for something completely different... a man with three buttocks.
Thank you for this great video!
I love this and I didn't even have a recipe for it, thank you
That looks tasty.
Hello I got plenty of fresh olives, but i havent done this before,do i have to cure them before to marinate?
Thank youuu

Thank you for this easy and delicious way of marinating olives. How can I keep olives in jars for a few months?

We're the olives untreated as straight of the tree?

What about keeping whole lemon/s in olive oil?
So you just leave the garlic in large chunks???
My goat
How long time the olives can stay in good condition in the jar in the fridge?
michel waknin As long as they are under the olive oil, for a VERY long time.
@@MaZEEZaM agreed. Keyword refrigerated lol
Won't the olive oil solidify in the fridge? If so how to prevent it?
You don’t put them in the fridge
I wouldn't of thought ginger and olives go together.
What is even more discombobulating is that he sounds a bit like Michael palin . I like him

Is there no danger of botulism with this?
If you don’t refrigerate it I believe
