Not gonna lie, at first when I saw 106 come up and basically start running toward the player, I was like ‘that is to damn terrifying.’
Then 106 pretty much love taps the player.

This just feels way-less frightening than the original. The original’s SCPs and environment just seemed so much more inhospitable and cold. This almost feels too-polished.
I know right? The original felt chaotic, people dying everywhere MTF not knowing what to do, SCP's running around, alarms blaring loud af... this just doesnt feel right.

I still remember coming across 1762. I was so mesmerized. I absolutely love it. I was honestly really sad to see it was terminated. The whole story is just sad. Not going to lie, I cried when I read it.
It wasn’t terminated, it was neutralized by itself. The foundation didn’t do anything. They didn’t save them, they didn’t kill them. Doesn’t change the fact that they’re gone, and that the story is heartbreaking.

They had to because the design was from an artist and something about like copy right or whatever, basically they made it more like how its actually described

Back then, you would wear the ring with the super gas mask to easily escape 049, 008, 409, etc. That's why they got rid of that, to make the game a bit harder. So, people who only played the older versions.
714 and super gas mask was nerfed/doesn't work anymore in the original CB though, so this wasn't really necessary unless they're adding something else we don't know about that'd be completely broken with the ring
I guess it's more realistic to slowly die due to the rings effects though
@@malf9795 If I remember, the ring makes you very tired and if you fall asleep, you can't be woken up unless the ring is removed, so you die of dehydration. The death makes sense. I wonder how fast/relentless 049 will be to even start to die from it.
Exactly, as I said it's realistic to die from it I guess but as a game mechanic I don't really see the point, either remove the death or make it happen faster.
