I hear "I Dreamed A Dream"... But why does it sound foreign to me?

I made one using an improvised bowden cable. I had a surgical flexible wire which I put in a plastic pipe used for pneumatic operations, The flexible wire can only support itself up to a maximumin extension of about nine inches so the nose was made of cloth and the tip was made of balso wood on which I wrapped the the soft cloth nose, Really the nose is like a miniature air sock a minaiature version of the sir sock one finds at airports.
I made a head gear out of galvinised stiff wire but any cap would do I guess. The stiff wire holds the plastic pipe to shape using electric tape and as the flexible wire goes through the end of the plastic pipe coming down the fore head turns outwards at the tip of the real nose. Around the stiff galvanised wire and the plastic pipe I wrapped enough glued cardbaord till I had a diameter of about 2 centimetre. On this I place a short cylinder long enugh to hold the retracted soft nose. The inner flexible cable running inside the nose sock is tied to the tip of the nose and when the flexible cable is pushed manually on the other side of the plastic pipe the "NOse reacts accordingly. Ihave no motors and it is just manual control . If one fixes the free plastic tube end to the attire one wears the whole unit can be controlled with one hand.
Again it has to be a light nose as the inner flexible cable does not support much but it works. The nose had folds when it is retracting but from a distance the audience in a theatre will hardly notice the folds. If one can acquire a inner flexible cable which can support itseff at a longer stretch so much the better. My flexibl surgical inner cable is like w tightly wound spring and not a flexible wire they use for shrouds in a sailing boat.

Do you have a video of it in action? We would love to see your work! Thanks for sharing. It's fun to see how different minds arrive at a similar end result.
