nice looking city, but where are the people! needs a big population boom hopefully and more inner-city support and more entertainment places downtown, more shopping downtown. city is spread out so they have room to expand!! don't southern people support there downtowns, like most northern cities are very very busy, maybe only a few do like Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, Charlotte, Austin, Miami etc , Montgomery ala. people you all can do better,. you have great potential
We are in the process of reviving. Most of our shopping malls are throughout the city and away from downtown…Oh, and most people work downtown and go home soon after. We don’t have much outside entertainment until the weekends. 🤷🏽♀️
@@CodyCole80 i tbink its time for Montgomery to be in competition with Huntsville, Nashville, Austin, and other southern towns Its big enough, they should have all kinds of Entertainment coming in doing the week , not only weekends. plus all kinds of shopping, and more. if they do it right they could be right up there with Raleigh, Charlotte, Tampa etc
@@jake94575 I agree. There have been improvements in the last few years, but I honestly think some people in power don’t want it to expand that way.
However! The word is slowly getting out on montgomery good or bad or how you have haters wanna put a black eye on the city and state. The state is one of the fastest growing in the country. Soon places like montgomery is going explode in growth. Money and power from developers, investments etc. Outweigh a lot of things. Its coming! Watch and see
