- CoroThread 266 is an innovative threading concept that utilizes iLock technology to improve insert indexability, accuracy, and eliminate insert movement during threading operations. CoroThread inserts have interlocking grooves for the most stable laydown threading system on the market.
Great Tool! We’ve been using it for a while now and it just work great. In combination with HP coolant and a chipbreaker it works even better.
Thank you for making great tools.
trust me folks in the future all inserts will have this technology V D style first than just about everything this really works 266 makes much better threads over the long run
Hunderte mal gemacht und immer mit Platten dieser Firma.
Very good
I use these whenever it's possible, I can often run 30+ parts with one tip.
Wich material? inox
@@MrIngorodrigues Typically 4140 HT, softer materials such as 1045 have more like 60 parts per edge.

Dear Mr. Coromant, Do you make a cylindrical insert holder, gripped on a v block in the tool post,so that I can swivel the tool to suit the helix angle of the thread, thereby ensuring that the correct side rake on the flanks of the cutter( and that the top face is perpendicular to the helix angle, I realize that your primary commercial concern is to supply the mass production market , but I think that ,worldwide, there are many turners ( e.g. toolrooms) who would welcome such an addition to your products. Might you also be able to make available the "angle of swivel" for any pitch and diameter of thread that we could download seeing as you allready have that informatrion ?
They make anvils that the inserts sit on with different angles for that very purpose, and an angle chart to go with it.
Nice
What program could I use to create a such animation like this?

Hi Jakub,
Most of our animations are made in a software called Cinema 4D.
