Emery has failed to implement a system which takes advantage of our strengths. The reason why we are conceding so much is not because of the personnel in defense! Our main issue is our attacking system!!! We have one of the most technical teams of the league (Ceballos, Ozil, Aubamayang, Lacazette, Pepe, Guendouzi). Our team is good enough to dominate possession against every team in the league barring City and Liverpool. With that in mind, how is it acceptable that we consistently get dominated by smaller teams? 31 shots and almost 60% possession conceded against Watford! THIS IS BECAUSE EMERY HAS NO SYSTEM!!! This combined with a manager who has refused to consistently play our best players in Ozil, Lacazette and now Ceballos! Especially, in the crucial big games! People seem to accept this for some reason saying they aren't physical enough?! The fact is that we have, purposefully taken world class quality OUT of the team! The worst thing is that IT HASN'T WORKED! Our manager is incapable of bringing the best out of our team... FACT! This is the problem with David Luiz. He needs a couple of defensively solid players around him to be effective. Chelsea had Kante and Rudiger and to some extent azpilicueta to cover for luiz, but in Arsenal I see only one player, Torriera, who can do that. Imo Torriera simple has to start if you want to play David luiz. If you can properly cover his mistakes defensively, he could still be very good in adding an extra dimension to Arsenals attack. His long balls are some of the best by a CB, and they can really help when teams like Watford are pressing very high up the pitch. I just feel like either Emery has outright denied them to play long balls, or the players are awful at improvising and adapting to the match conditions.
The biggest issue is, the manager isn't fitting for the club and personnel. The only managers free are defensive minded managers. A system that again, with this squad isn't a sustainable playing style. We need an attacking manager and one that plays to our teams quality, not putting them out of position. We were also screaming for the wingers' assistance at the back, something Iwobi did very well, even without the natural talent Auba and Pepe posses.

I would dump the whole defence and go Bellerin - Chambers - Holding - Tierney (when everyone is fit). Won't be perfect but they are young, hungry players with massive room for development. Luiz, Sokratis, and Kolasinac don't have much more potential for improvement. AMN has been okay but I feel as if he would be a better addition to the midfield.
