I had this here: envelope into the mod input for the lowpass to have the filter open on each trigger for some acid; clock input; a trigger from the main case into the reset (did not use in this vid I think but the idea is to reset somewhere in the middle of a bar and get polyrhythms) :)
Good stuff!! 8 step sequencers are the best, have pitch from my DFAM sequencing one of the pitches on Loquelic typically, makes for some fun! Have a love/hate relationship with my Swarm lately tho, need to figure out where it fits in since my setup has changed so much since I bought it
Ah I have the same with the Swarm :) I kinda wish the 8 step seq was not built in. It feels not 100% modular to me. Also I think for me personally it has too many spots that are a bit too wild :)
Nice. We appear to share similar thoughts on case setups. I really like tweaking things manually to evolve tracks and I really dig touch control. Have you consider the Bela Gliss modules? They are currently on my radar to some additional live expressive control. I recently installed a Scrooge for percussion duties and its fantastic.
Yeah I've been thinking to get some Gliss, what do think to use them for? I now use the Bastl Neo Trinity to record movement and love it!!! Re. Scrooge, did not know it, looks dope. Do you know the SSF percussion modules? I am tempted by them. I just rebuilt my case around percussion (see my newest video) and I am loving it
@@nero_di_seppia For me the Gliss serves 3 main duties (though it does more), on the fly melody creation using the expressive keyboard mode (it recognizes pressure), on the fly modulation (the Trinity is great for this too) and finally on the fly mini sequences. The SSF stuff is really nice when I was considering percussion I checked them out. I didn't actually get the Scrooge to mount in my small case (I also have the 7ux104). I got it mainly as a unique drum synth for desktop, turns out the videos on the internet do not really do it justice, they tend to focus only on the weird sounds but it can do vanilla drums AND many other percussive and base sounds. It also has unique outs per channel and can sequence (gate) an external track, plus process incoming sounds. It's just so solid I took the HP hit.
Lot of Power in this episode! A question about the Alan Turing Machine. How do you quantize the Alan? I can't see it in the video. Thanks for your feedback.
I thought the same the other day actually. I was comparing it to this jam in my tiny case and it has no reverb and it just slaps a bit more ruclips.net/video/2FFIuoL7k-E/видео.htmlsi=yfDLULNPOct9xpg1 I think somehow on my studio headphones I don't notice this as much while playing -- not sure why.. anyway, planning to do more jams without the Desmodus reverb
🔥🔥🔥
Sounds like it’s at the bottom of the ocean and someone is running the vaccum cleaner
wat
would love a breakdown of how you are connecting Swarm!

Thanks! It is not pitch quantized here :) Or what do you mean?
Thats what i mean. It works well? I am interested in a Turing machine, but I don't have a quantiser and actually no more space in my little case ;-)
I actually prefer if melodies are unquantized in Techno:) but it is a matter if taste
You are right ;-)
in all jams on net there is too much reverb.... for me

No offence but how are you using it given the wire birdsnest
it is actually more organized than usual. look in the right there is even ribbons
