almost found all was missing the z06 and the ford GT for the longest time Finally got. Now that PINK 911... maybe one day ill find it. it seems some clown buys all of them when the are restocked every time in an hr or less
Porsches are crazy hyped right now and are very hard to find when they come out in any set it seems. I still haven’t completed the Porsche silver line set for the same reason!
I’m wondering if the paints glow-factor varies by individual car as well bc even wave 1 and 2 I had some cars that glowed and some didn’t but other people said they got some of theirs to glow more. I tried to apply the light several different ways (direct, shaded, reflected) and I couldn’t get them to glow 😖 But it’s cool that some of them do glow at least!
@@64Wheels that's a possibility for sure. My corvette has production code T09, perhaps yours is a lower number hence the change, it'd be interesting to see the relationship between glow and production dates
Really wish they'd kept putting fantasy castings in here. There's so many that would look great in this style. Something for everybody except fantasy collectors, I suppose.
@@64Wheels i tend to crack jokes that Hot Wheels should stop making licensed cars and only do fantasy castings from now on but every day the collectors and the premiums and all that stuff make that joke a little less jokey

All I can find at my local Walmarts are the Cadillac, Corvette and BMW but wish that I had the Mercedes AMG, Dodge Challenger and Porsche
The Hellcat and Porsche seem to be two of the harder to find castings in this line.

The Corvette and Mercedes DO glow. I dont know if maybe your light is too powerful or if its not the right wavelength, but I promise you they do
I personally think the AMG is the best one under UV, very cool design

Yeah a fantasy would have been cool but I think they sell better when there’s no fantasy castings sadly.

I wonder if the “glowness” of the paint is dependent by model as the paint mixtures vary over production.
