I was born here and his pronunciation is correct (Water/Toronto). The t is silent. If Eng is not ur first language then its easy to pronounce it wrong, for example, Zara vs Sara. The PATH is my life!! My everyday walk to the office :) There’s always a lot of freebies in the summer time.
I can understand it might be strange for ppl from hk since most of us learned British english [at least ppl from my gen mostly learned or tried to learn British English. I rmb one time I told someone [in the US] something about cars, and the person didn't understand me coz I didn't roll my tongue enough to pronounce 'cAR' hahah it's a fun experience anyway haha
Josh's English is correct, "TORON-O". Seriously people in Enland/Ireland, they pronounce "water" as "Wa-er" "better" - "bet-er". if you listen to Miss Hong Kong 2020, Lisa, her "English" is like that.
