Great dialogue and beautiful footage! Note to the naysayers - first off it's an ad, second, this is not a documentary of a specific solo ride, it's merely touching on the ideas that encompass the benefits of riding solo. Hence, yea there's a camera man!
95% of my riding is solo and I prefer it that way. It’s mostly because I like to march to the beat of my own drum, so to speak. I’m in New Mexico and we also have some spectacular backroads out here. On occasion, I will ride with two or three other guys. I recently rode down to Scottsdale AZ with 4 other guys for a 4 day trip to AZ Bike Week and a Lynard Skynard concert. Getting ready to shoot up to Colorado for a week in July with my bro-in-law to ride the Million Dollar Hwy for the millionth time, a jaunt out to Moab UT, and possibly Pikes Peak, weather permitting.
My next trip will definitely be alone. No debates on which way to take. No planned stops. No plan at all. Just leave Kentucky, cross Montana, cross Arizona desert, and somehow make it back to Kentucky
3 days?! Meh. I'm not an Iron Butt rider. Those guys are in another stratosphere. But 3 days ain't gonna give you much clarity. Just saying. Next time, leave the camera man home. Take off for a month or two. Use motels only if must. Go see the Grand Canyon, Salt Flats, Grand Tetons, Black Hills, Pikes Peak, Estes Park. The next trip head East.
As much as I wanted to finish you video, the text is way to distracting. I don't watch TV with CC on and displaying the text in the video should be left to the CC. People who want/need it will turn it on.
Just remember kids... a Harley is not a substitute for having a personality. It will not make you more insightful, thoughtful, or interesting. Being alone will give you an internal monologue, but that’s where most people should keep that shit. Arizona dose have some beautiful roads. Stay off the 10 as much as you can though.
Man rides motorcycle by himself for a few days. Posts video on utube like he's had some existential metamorphis. Get over yourself, you just went for a ride. 🙄
I’m a loner but I’m never alone. That’s where the magic is for me.
Taking a long ride alone on a motorbike is opening up a dimension of the soul that only opens up on this one.
This video deserves a Million of views! Breathtaking!
Really nice! My last trip alone was from SF to LA on highway 1, not to have a plan is the way to go.
Rode these roads solo, many times over many years. Nice video.
My dream ride before I die.
Thank you.
Wow , I have ridden lots of trips with pals too , crikey that looks appealing 🙂
Solo sounds good to me, nice trip.
I love my HOG group, my CMA rides, but alone time on a Harley is a precious gift I give myself. Thanks, HD.
What a production!!!!

Does anyone actually think this is real? It’s an ad, people.

Damn! I've been fooled all this time. ;-)
Would be a great video, without the guitar lesson in the background.
Let me hear that big twin!
