Gordon yells at people serving raw/inedible food in his restaurant or in their own restaurants because it is a danger to others. To people who deserve it, he is sweet and kind.
Gordon Ramsey is passionate about his work. To those who should know better, he gives only his wrath. To those who don't, who are only beginning on the path, he makes sure they become as passionate as well. EVERYONE deserves the chance to learn from their mistakes as a beginner and become the best cook they can be. But on Hell's Kitchen, you are claiming you are good enough to not only work under one of Gordon's kitchens but to run it. He expects you to be as perfect as he takes himself to task to become. After all, you are signing up to be his right hand at that restaurant. Why would Gordon send anything less than absolute perfection?
The main reason he's so aggressive with adults chefs is because: They should know better. They're not only adults but have been cooking professionally for a living. There is no reason for them to be messing up as badly as they do. With kids, he's an angel. He knows these kids are still learning and yelling at them would accomplish nothing except maybe ruining their love of cooking for the rest of their lives.

@Qunt Face I mean think of it like this, imagine you got professional chefs that are supposed to know how to cook and they kept on messing up every time, wasting your food by burning it or leaving it raw which you lose money. It’s a 5 star restaurant so the expectations are very high, if the customer isn’t pleased it will come back and they would have to make another one if the food is too fucked up. I understand why Gordon would be pissed off.

That part was really amazing, instead of giving her special treatments for her disability or looks down on her for it, he treats her fair and equal just like the other contestants competing with her. Also loved the way he described her pie in a way she would understand how good it turned out to be, he was trying to give her confidence and let her know that her disability didn't stop her even though she was unsure of it. He's the type that would not overpraise someone, but would also encourage and push those who are talented AND wants to learn, but if someone is not treating cooking seriously, with or without talent he'll put them in places where they should be and wouldn't hold back criticisms.

And it just generated more negativity from people, leaving comments on different sites that has Amy's Baking Company name on there. Which, I am wondering if that is what happened before they shut down.
@@martelljohnson5200 Good riddance. I reckon that they moved to someplace else? I mean, they are quite known to anyone that has seen the episode or on social media, like Facebook.
The UK version of Kitchen Nightmares is one of my favorite shows. The only stress comes from the incompetent owners, Ramsay is usually super kind to the servers and kitchen staff and works hard to make sure they can be proud of where they work. He's still intense, but he rarely raises his voice. Totally different vibe.
Ramsay is actually a wonderful and generous person that cares deeply for his community, family, and craft. The yelling and screaming is mostly for the American version of the show. The the kind of low brow entertainment Americans crave unfortunately.
In Hell's Kitchen, the chefs that Gordon was yelling at were most likely chefs already. The reason that he was so pissed off was because that the people from Hell's Kitchen should already know how to cook and work under pressure. I would describe Gordon as a passionate and intense person when it comes to cooking and being in the kitchen. :D
Gordon unfortunately has the combo of being a perfectionist and also having a short temper. But he’s truly passionate about he does and if he sees blatant disregard for the health and safety rules, of course he’s going to blow his lid. Plus if you need help or just don’t quite understand he’s very willing to help you and explain or show.
Good video, y’all! Chef Ramsay really does strike me as just a good guy who’s very, *very* passionate about cooking. The later seasons of Hell’s Kitchen do focus a little more on playing up the drama for the cameras, as well.
Gordon has levels he expects from people depending on what level they are as a chef. He hates excuses, he’d rather you own up to your mistakes and say you won’t do it again. He treats people how they behave or their morals. He does do charity work, so he can’t be all bad, lol. He could yell at me if I could meet Yumi.
He was actually physically abused by his father as a kid that's why he was so aggressive. He turned to cooking so he can make a name for himself and earn. But after consulting his father he realized he shouldn't put out his anger on other people.
Two things I love in 1 video: you guys reacting to Gordon Ramsay!!! The day has finally come :D I love all of Gordon Ramsay's different sides on different shows but it's kinda funny seeing the differences played back to back. If you guys wanted to do a continuation you've GOT to include MasterChef Junior clips, he's so sweet to the kids!!
The reason the moment with Chef Christine (first nice moment in the vid) was even more heart warming was because Christine is actually blind. She was flustered and thought she did really badly. She couldnt even see the pie she made, that's why she said it probably looks like a pile of rubbish. That's why he explains in detail what the pie looked like.
Please react to part 2 that includes clips from Master Chef Junior where the contestants are kids and ones where he goes to different countries to learn their cuisine.
It's always so funny to see people react to him being friendly. Imagine being such an angry person all the time, your life would have no value. Luckily from what I've seen he's really not an angry person at all, he's mostly just doing what the tv shows expect of him. Also the season with Christine was a tear jerker... loved every moment of it.
7:50 It's absolutely the other way around. Gordon Ramsay is one of the most wholesome, understanding, genuine people I have ever seen, he just gets really worked up when it comes to arrogant people who claim they can cook but can't.
Christine, the girl crying at the end, is blind, and cooked everything on the show by taste, sound, and smell. And ALL her dishes turned out BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely stunning, near replicas of what Chef Ramsey himself made when he was teaching the contestants before letting them make the dish themselves. Her plating skills were magnificent. But her blindness is what made her a bit self-conscious and doubt herself, despite all the praise she was getting. It is also why he was describing the visuals to her in minute details, and letting her hear the crispiness of the crust. She went on to win the whole show - it was a heartwarming season.
My spirit animal lol I feel like one of the main reasons he’s so angry throughout Hell’s Kitchen is these chiefs are meant to be top chiefs in their own restaurant but fail to do so many basic stuff that it gets on his nerves it’s not like they’re new or learning
It doesn’t depict his personality tho, you should have seen him how gentle he is with real people, how he helps servers from kitchen nightmares, how he once payed to help an elderly couple. And how he treats kids and he’s a great father too
I love this channel, it's so calm and relaxing to watch. I also love how they give us some information on the topic first as well. This channel is so well done.
Chef Ramsay is very passionate about food. He is mean to professional chefs because they should know better. The reason he has so many Michelin stars is because he is so exact. He is an excellent teacher and mentor and is encouraging to the home chefs (such as the blind woman) on Master Chef.
Reactions to these clips definitely need context. These contestants are already chefs and work with food. They SHOULD know how to cook and handle pressure but they often fall short. That is why Gordon gets so upset. These chefs charge money, they have knowledge.
Lol when I first heard about Gordon, I didn’t like him. Felt like he was way too angry for no reason. The more I watched, the more I realized that these people (chefs) would have handed customers undercooked, raw, incorrect meals had he not have been as harsh/aggressive.
As somebody more in sports I just imagine a forward who's not putting on pressure while getting paid 100k/week after I told him to do so. Yes, I would be fucking yelling. You're a professional you say? You're getting treated like one. Martinzed got on at the 45th minute and was off again in the 60th a few weeks ago at Inter, he was pissed but fuck him, he was not trying. Actions have consequences.
You guys should totally do Masterchef he's a different person on there, but on Hell's Kitchen some people on there messed up pretty badly. (in stupid or embarrassing ways) so I can see why he be angry sometimes. ESPECIALLY if I can tell from the screen that something is undercooked/cold and then serve it anyway. 🤦🏻♀️
The difference is that some of his shows are for home cooks who want to improve themselves, and some are for professionals who are staking their reputation to prove their greatness, while others are for struggling restaurants begging for his time and money to help their business recover. These different categories of people do not merit identical treatment. Additionally, talent deserves nurturing, incompetence deserves censure; this is basic and should be easy to understand from an Asian mindset.
Gordon is only hard on people because he's a master chef who expects quality every single time from others who want to be chefs or run a business, you gotta have thick skin and be able to operate under pressure in order to succeed in the restaurant industry otherwise you won't survive. He's just passionate and entertaining. I love when he calls people donkeys or tells them to fvck off tho lol
Gordon is a man of extremes. When he's ticked off, run for cover, but he can be incredibly supportive and kind, too. Good lord, the whole of Kitchen Nightmares is him going out trying to HELP people, often not just their businesses, but their families and personal lives, too. He's a remarkable fellow.
I live in the most densely south Korean populated area in Europe, a small town in England called New Malden. I just want to say I love Korean people and their culture, very clean, tidy, quiet and never cause any trouble. I have tried to learn some basic Korean to be polite when I go into the food shops, and they always seem delighted when I wish them a happy Korean new year.
In Hell’s Kitchen hes comes off as a jerk because he’s working with 4-5 star chefs who are making rookie mistakes, hes expecting perfection. In kitchen nightmares hes dealing with neglectful business that can risk harming customers fatally. So hes angry because theyre not passionate. In MasterChef hes working with chefs from all walks of life so hes more encouraging, to help them achieve their dreams. Gordon puts on the right attitude for the occasion😌
I think you both should make this as a series!!☺️it is really entertaining, and tbh every single episode of any Gordon’s show is just so entertaining to watch haha✨
Ohhh I remember Christine's season! I get goosebumps just typing about her. She was almost completely blind and her cooking was amazing. She is mad of sterner stuff for sure!
❤️’ed that they used the Amy’s Baking Co. episode of Kitchen Nightmares to react to😆👏🏽😆.. 1 of, if the not the most, Iconic episodes of the Entire series.
I think it boils down to him not liking people who make claims they can't back up or who try to pull the wool over his eyes. That's why he's so much nicer to the home chefs, kids, and people who are honestly trying.
I love Gordon Ramsay, especially on Hell's Kitchen Nightmares, but on Master Chef he's a sweetheart. He's tougher on the people who are career chefs and not the "home cooks" on Master Chef.
Gordon Ramsey gets a lot of attention but Jacque Pepin is considered to be a master chef and this is what he said about antics like Ramsey's in a kitchen. "In 2011, legendary chef Jacques Pepin called out Gordon Ramsay's show "Hell's Kitchen," telling Washingtonian he wasn't a fan because good food can't be created under conditions where "everyone is yelling." The French-American doubled down on his comments in a scathing piece for The Daily Meal. Pepin called out reality shows "that portray the restaurant kitchen in a chaotic and negative light," arguing they do a "disservice to our trade and to young people who want to go into this business." Pointing to the "worst offenders" who swear constantly, Pepin reiterated that quality food isn't made under such conditions. "
The reason Gordon is mad is because the chefs he yells at are expected to be experienced, and able to work at a high standard professional setting. Yet if you look closely, they make mistakes that even an amateur won't do or are stubbornly ignorant, which is why he's so hard on them so they can really take the lesson to heart. He's only mad to people who deserve it, and gives kindness to those who deserve it. That's why he's a really popular chef.
I used to think Gordon Ramsey was super angry all the time but I realised that he only gets angry at people who should know better. He gets angry at stupid mistakes made by chefs who have been doing their jobs for years. He's super nice to the kids on Junior Masterchef because they're still learning and that's the best time to make mistakes, even if they're silly.
The anger and the cursing is mostly just his character and act within the kitchen, whilst in the kitchen he is of course intimidating in his pursuit of perfection and such, but that's what he did to achieve his success, of course, a lot of it is "hyped up" for views now. IRL he is actually a super nice guy, and very charitable, he just has a very intense leadership style in his kitchen. He's one of my favourite TV chefs alongside Nadiya Hussain (who is so lovely and wholesome all the time x3)
On gordan ramsay early times as a chef he worked with a hot tempered chef . The chef is one of the important person for him now.So he knows you should always be strict mainly because the customers trust you till they give their money.
It's TV. Also, a lot of these "chefs" are over confident fast-food cooks who think they can actually run a restaurant. With people who can cook, as he has proven with a few of the employees in some restaurants in Kitchen Nightmares (where owners wouldnt allow actual chefs to make food and recipes), he will help them show the owners what they can do, and teach them the right way. He's also wonderful with children. All this violence and useless screaming is for show
Hey Zoey!! XD. Remember me from the live? 😂Anyways I love your videos and they got me through the quarantine. I’ve been a subscriber since Kong was part of the channel. And please say hi to him if you meet him! He joined the military right? And also say hi to Yum and Grandma OK! Love y’all!!! ❤️❤️
Ah Christine is my fav on any master chef season. She's so skilled despite the extra hurdle of being legally blind. She's so inspiring! Also you should check how Ramsay is with the kids on master chef junior. He's totally different on there. His dad instincts come out on display there 😉
7:51 that’s exactly right. He’s what he needs to be when he needs to be. Some people are mentioning how good he is with kids, but it’s not at all related to age. It’s about experience. With shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, he’s dealing with people who have already been introduced to a professional culinary setting. When you have “chefs” making stupid mistakes like cooking in burnt pans, serving raw food (HK) or being unsanitary, using rotten ingredients (KN), you’d get angry. Especially since some of these could literally kill people. Additionally, with HK, they’re cooking at his restaurant, under his name. You wouldn’t want your reputation to get ruined or someone to get sick dining at your place because some ditz doesn’t know how to sear a scallop, would you? With MasterChef (Junior and regular) and The F-Word, he is much calmer as he’s dealing with inexperienced people who aren’t hoity-toity, but eager to gain knowledge from him. You’ll see a clear difference with how Gordon deals with arrogant “chefs” vs humble beginners.
His anger is exaggerated for the cameras. In the original British version,he is very calme and collected and just makes a lot of snarky comments, that's how British TV personality usually are. They should watch that version too and the one with the kids.

He's the type that would not overpraise someone, but would also encourage and push those who are talented AND wants to learn, but if someone is not treating cooking seriously, with or without talent he'll put them in places where they should be and wouldn't hold back criticisms.
he's so good with kids. and he helps so many restaurant owners save their businesses. gordans a really good guy
I don't blame gordon for being strict to the adult chefs cuz sometimes they're way off the hook 🥲
"I don't see why he's that upset." Well, my sister who is a chef in a popular restaurant in NZ, said screaming head chefs are normal for a michelin-starred restaurant. You have to understand that there is no room for rookie mistakes in a professional setting. Gordon isn't angry for no reason lol
that, and kitchens are just plain loud. even if you're just talking about normal stuff, you have to scream or no one will hear you :P
He's angry for entertainment purposes.
@@quntface1518No, Hes a chef and seeing an adult not able to cook a very simple thing is often "wtf is he/she doing?" Type of moment. Imagine not being to cook something easy at..adult age because all we do is being stupid. He expects so much from and yet, they keep fucking up
@@koreops8511 What's more, imagine not being able to cook something and having the balls to say you deserve to run one of HIS kitchens for him. He is sending to this kitchen his absolute best chef to run it. AND YOU CAN'T COOK A SALMON TO TEMPERATURE!? And you expect to be HIRED?

I don't blame him for being so angry in Hell's Kitchen. Some of them are a bunch of idiots. Once a girl burned him two or three times in the same night.
Yeah, but she won that season though, so not so much of an idiot.
@@NoName-hv7xn Everyone can have a bad night. The key is to bounce back if you are given the chance.

I cry from laughter every time I see those clips, especially when his voice breaks or he calls people donkeys 😂😂😂 I don't know why it's so funny to me
@@bums009 ikr 🤣
If there's a part 2, "idiot sandwich" needs to on the list!!!
I'm just wondering; was the "idiot sandwich" only part of a skit or did something similar really happen in one of his shows lol.
@@offthesidelines I think it was only part of a skit because I watch too much Hell's kitchen and never heard that meme before

I LITERALLY JUST FELL INTO THE GORDON RAMSAY RABBIT HOLE LAST WEEK AND YALL POSTED THIS TODAY IM-
Omg me too! I’ve been bingeing Gordon Ramsay widens on RUclips all week.
Kitchen Nightmares anyone?
If you haven’t watched the Amy’s Baking Company episode of Kitchen Nightmares, it’s amazing 😂
@@intricatelycomplex dude i just torrented 2 seasons of KN and 5 of HK lol
@@sourgreendolly7685 ikrrr...and you know what? Amy is STILL commenting on random videos of Gordon or clips of her episode about how everyone's a hater lmao...just saw her reply to someone YESTERDAY..im telling you she's insane
Gordon is so kind in Masterchef Junior! He’s amazing with the little kids ☺️
I remember that episode! Amy’s baking company was the most worst place to be in. I felt bad for the employees, Ramsey and the crew for wasting their time on a place like that 💯
and the owner started threatening people on facebook after it aired
Isn't that the one that Ramsay told the customers that the owner is taking the tips were meant for the workers? I try to remember, but didn't that place closed shortly after the episode of Kitchen Nightmare?
@@Nakarotto1 yes! Horrible people and it’s been closed for years.
@@martelljohnson5200 Yeah, I do remember seeing one of the episodes of Kitchen Nightmares, and saw them being like that. Like damn, I am glad that they did get shut down. I did look it up a while ago before seeing your reply that they also leave bad comments or something like that to people that were leaving negative reviews or something after that episode was aired. And it just generated more negativity from people, leaving comments on different sites that has Amy's Baking Company name on there. Which, I am wondering if that is what happened before they shut down.
@@martelljohnson5200 Good riddance.
I reckon that they moved to someplace else? I mean, they are quite known to anyone that has seen the episode or on social media, like Facebook.
ramsay on british television is actually pretty chill. like the tone is 90% more quiet and wholesome than u.s versions from what i've watched.
It was great watching Ramsay on The show "Please Take Care Of My Refrigerator". He behaved himself more than Id ever seen before or after.
Yes!
You should also watch him on the kids version of MasterChef for a comparison 😂
Ramsay is actually a wonderful and generous person that cares deeply for his community, family, and craft. The yelling and screaming is mostly for the American version of the show. The the kind of low brow entertainment Americans crave unfortunately.
In Hell's Kitchen, the chefs that Gordon was yelling at were most likely chefs already. The reason that he was so pissed off was because that the people from Hell's Kitchen should already know how to cook and work under pressure.
I would describe Gordon as a passionate and intense person when it comes to cooking and being in the kitchen. :D
The season with Christine was my most favorite season of Master Chef yet.
Omg I'm so happy that you guys reacted to Gordon. I love him so much. He cracks me up so much in all his shows.
Chef Ramsay really does strike me as just a good guy who’s very,
*very*
passionate about cooking.
But after consulting his father he realized he shouldn't put out his anger on other people.
i wonder how he feels acting up his anger for the show
Two things I love in 1 video: you guys reacting to Gordon Ramsay!!!
She's incredible
Please react to part 2 that includes clips from Master Chef Junior where the contestants are kids and ones where he goes to different countries to learn their cuisine.
I've been on a Gordon Ramsay binge watch for like days now! I'm so glad to see this! Love you guys!
I felt three different emotions. Scared in the beginning, cried in the middle and laughed at the end, never had a short vid like this do that before.
It doesn’t depict his personality tho, you should have seen him how gentle he is with real people, how he helps servers from kitchen nightmares, how he once payed to help an elderly couple. And how he treats kids and he’s a great father too
"I didn't do anything wrong, but I feel like I'm being punished."
"Those people deserved to be yelled at, for sure"
The dichotomy of watching Gordon.
Even being blind she became top Chef and so deserved it.🥰
I love this channel, it's so calm and relaxing to watch. I also love how they give us some information on the topic first as well. This channel is so well done.
I got addicted to everything Gordon Ramsay about 2 years ago. You can leave the rabbit hole 💀
Chef Ramsay is very passionate about food. He is mean to professional chefs because they should know better. The reason he has so many Michelin stars is because he is so exact. He is an excellent teacher and mentor and is encouraging to the home chefs (such as the blind woman) on Master Chef.
I needed you guys today. Thank you for existing. ❤️❤️❤️
Gordon is very passionate about food, he is a very nice and down to earth dude, just don’t mess with food
OMG THE REACTION I DIDN’T KNOW I NEEDED
THIS IS THE VIDEO WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. I NEED A WHOLE SERIES
You should see him with kids on the MasterChef junior, it's so wholesome
Gordon is only hard on people because he's a master chef who expects quality every single time from others who want to be chefs or run a business, you gotta have thick skin and be able to operate under pressure in order to succeed in the restaurant industry otherwise you won't survive. He's just passionate and entertaining. I love when he calls people donkeys or tells them to fvck off tho lol
I actually worked on season 10 of hells kitchen. He's a really nice person!
Oh wow never thought I’d see the day, time to delay my sleep for a bit🤩
I live in the most densely south Korean populated area in Europe, a small town in England called New Malden. I just want to say I love Korean people and their culture, very clean, tidy, quiet and never cause any trouble. I have tried to learn some basic Korean to be polite when I go into the food shops, and they always seem delighted when I wish them a happy Korean new year.
The irony is he was nothing like this in the British versions of these shows. I think the American producers told him to dial up the rage for ratings.
I really hope the “idiot sandwich “ is on here 😂😂😂😂😂
That was a skit for a tv show, no?
I think you both should make this as a series!!☺️it is really entertaining, and tbh every single episode of any Gordon’s show is just so entertaining to watch haha✨
I don’t know if you would like too but I would love to see you react to Vicente Fernandez “El Rey” live. He is a legend in Mexico
Yessssss!!!!!
Ohhh I remember Christine's season! I get goosebumps just typing about her. She was almost completely blind and her cooking was amazing. She is mad of sterner stuff for sure!
He's way more tame in his UK shows he really cranks his outbursts to an 11 for US shows.
Can you blame him? Most Americans are hard heads
❤️’ed that they used the Amy’s Baking Co. episode of Kitchen Nightmares to react to😆👏🏽😆.. 1 of, if the not the most, Iconic episodes of the Entire series.
Never clicked so fast off another video to watch you guys!! 😂🥰🥰
I think it boils down to him not liking people who make claims they can't back up or who try to pull the wool over his eyes. That's why he's so much nicer to the home chefs, kids, and people who are honestly trying.
4:04 that place was on Nightmares was insane
Gordon just said F this and left
Those people are crazy
P.S The asian girl who made the pie is blind
When Gordon Ramsay praises your cooking and compliments you like that, you know DAMN well you're a great cook.
Almost made me cry, tbh.
You should compare this to him with kids. Or watch kitchen nightmares!
I love Gordon Ramsay, especially on Hell's Kitchen Nightmares, but on Master Chef he's a sweetheart.
He's tougher on the people who are career chefs and not the "home cooks" on Master Chef.
Their reactions are the best 😂❤️
I love your Sheldon Cooper jumper!!! 😍
Great timing
I used to think Gordon Ramsey was super angry all the time but I realised that he only gets angry at people who should know better. He gets angry at stupid mistakes made by chefs who have been doing their jobs for years. He's super nice to the kids on Junior Masterchef because they're still learning and that's the best time to make mistakes, even if they're silly.
Girls, did u kno that the chef that made the 🍎 apple pie is COMPLETELY BLIND??
Literally got exactly what I asked for going into RUclips today. Thanks a whole bunch as always 🤙
The people he's yelling at deserve it. It makes more sense in context.
Okay but you guys should react to Masterchef Junior next, he’s so gentle with the kids
On gordan ramsay early times as a chef he worked with a hot tempered chef . The chef is one of the important person for him now.So he knows you should always be strict mainly because the customers trust you till they give their money.
I was counting on Yumi to tear up with me but guess not :'D
All this violence and useless screaming is for show
I'm never this early. Exciting!
Me too😄
Hey Zoey!! XD. Remember me from the live? 😂Anyways I love your videos and they got me through the quarantine. I’ve been a subscriber since Kong was part of the channel. And please say hi to him if you meet him! He joined the military right? And also say hi to Yum and Grandma OK! Love y’all!!! ❤️❤️
I’ll never understand why people like him, he’s just plain rude and disrespectful. I know it’s supposed to be funny but I don’t get it.
Dude stfu he had to rage more for the ratings he’s different with kids and on the uk version
My grandfather works at a jewelry shop and has met Gordon Ramsay several times and has said he's super nice in person.
It's amazing these ladies take the time to read all the comments.
The girl with the apple pie was actually a blind contestant. She ended up winning that season.
His anger is exaggerated for the cameras. In the original British version,he is very calme and collected and just makes a lot of snarky comments, that's how British TV personality usually are.
They should watch that version too and the one with the kids.
IVE BEEN WATING FOR THIS!
