Great to see you back DJ..and singing the praises of my favourite sandwich shop in London..they do just the best sandwiches in the whole London and when you also consider that they based in Mayfair these sandwiches are actually cheaper than you would think...

I went there years ago when working round the corner meat balls and spaghetti were fav also do a good breakfast always full of taxi drivers eat downstairs you used to learn a lot from them Get well soon

Have you done anything in Shepherds Bush ? My dear Nan lived there, if anything on the Road adj to tne Green ,the Bbc i think it was at The End of the Green ,,.....and Shepherds Bush Market ..Fondly Remember them location
Had my 1st ever KFC on the Main Road Adj to the Green when i was a Wee un and 7 up , Still remember it Well ,

The food looked great, the range looked vast but of good quality, you certainly looked like you were enjoying your roll and baguette. Mayfair looks a nice part of London. Hope your throat is better soon and will look forward to that potential restaurant vlog you mentioned.
i went to the Piccolo bar for almost 40 years at least once a week always sat downstairs and had smoked Salmon with French Bread with so much Salmon in it always overfilled i parked my Taxi outside never had a problem they opened up a Cafe in the Hyde Park underground car park which was the easiest place in London to eat they also cooked proper Italian Food including the best Soup Faggioli wish it was still open

Good to see you better Darren, I agree that's not bad for Mayfair I was only thinking about those old school rolls the other day but where do you get them now ? none in supermarkets and not many bakers about now.
Anyone who knows goes to Piccolo Bar Shepherd Market and in an absolute emergency we break out Gresham Street, won't mention the others though,still good as they are.

Love the piccolo bar been going there for years as I was a chauffeur a favourite haunt for cabbies and Chauffeurs builders the best sandwich’s around and the pasta and meatballs and lasagna to die for nice one Darren get well soon
That is well cheap for the London area let alone Mayfair, a gem of a find DJ. I think you might need a good hot curry to sort you out mate. Thanks for persevering through your illness although you must put yourself first.

Got to agre100% regards the crusty roll filling and you can taste the butter, with a cuppa, delicious.
That's a bargain for London and a nice area to have a walk.

For me, every roll, bap, sandwich, etc, could always be well buttered before filling with the goodies! Butter is stuff which makes stuff taste nice! Take care, all...😁....!

Not sure if you have done picalos in sheperd street w1 london. Im a cabbie and this place has serviced cabbie bellys for years. Its very cheap and the quality out weighs the price. Lots to choose from. Give it a go its worth it.

Oh I wondered if I spotted coronation chicken. That definitely would have been my choice. It's now my fave sandwich that's to F&M. So good!!! I think £11 for the 2 x rolls and coffee in Mayfair no less is brilliant!! You can't go wrong for that price. Like you said yes you can make it cheaper at home but we all need to get out and get some fresh air sometimes. So good that you did. This thing has knocked me too. A week in and it still hasn't fully gone away. So annoying. Try and rest up as much as you can poor thing. 💙😊🤒🤧
