I was going to disk mine in like you did around the 6:45 mark in your video. The I pull a culti-packer over it. Basically the same process you use.
    Thanks for the video!

Just stumbled on your channel..... About 5 years ago we ceased row cropping cotton and peanuts and started A commercial hay operation..... mostly from rented land ........ We bought, repaired used and then sold a Bermuda King Digger and Sprig planter..... But about 3 days my Son(the Boss) located and bought a slightly usee J.D.460R baler and another digger and planter(Package deal) in Texas exactly like the one we had......Shipping has been arranged and the kit and kobutal should be here with in a week....

What has been your experience with tift85? Yield per acre? Can you tell me, where did you get your sprigs?

@daveydod I got my sprigs from a wholesaler, and now I just dig mine up to replant elsewhere.
I get 10-11 rolls per acre per year with heavy fertilizer.

@@southernpoultryfarmer3951 What's your yield per acre for hay? I'm trying to decide between tift85 and Cherokee 2. I think tift85 would be better but Cherokee 2 is easier to plant because it's seed.
