  • On New Year's Eve on December 31st. a large number of men with bells and rollers and still without headdress and suit meet on the village square for early morning clauses. All lights in the entire village center are extinguished within 15 minutes and no traffic is allowed in the village square for 15 minutes. After that, breakfast is served and the balls get dressed. They move in groups from house to house, ahead of the "Vorrolli" in the middle, the "Schelli" at the end of the "Noerolli". They stand in a circle on rings and then roll and then to sing a "Zäuerli" song. This is usually repeated 3 times. Then the Chläusers wish the host and his family a happy new year and move to the next house.
