This is a really cool and innovative way to build a VERY interesting layout in extremely limited space. Very well done, my friend. Former Michigander (born and raised in Lawrence/Coloma area) now living in Florida. Still love trains...big and small. God bless you and yours.

Hi Michians Mainlines! I really like your shelf layout!!
The tracks running through the residential area and street running is perfectly prototypical.
DJ of DJ’s trains has shown this in his videos
Also there’s a town not far from me called Dawson Pa where CSX runs right through the middle of town.
    Great video!! Please show more!!
Lastly - I love that abandoned trackage behind the store. It looks great!!

Very nice layout! To solve the lighting issues, I’d suggest full spectrum LED strip lighting. It’s inexpensive and doesn’t have the light-dark effect of individual lights like recessed or track lighting. And if I remember correctly, it’s fairly easy to install.

You’re layout is fantastic and there’s not a thing I would change about it. You kept it so simple but yet there’s still so much detail. I like your style...

Recognising RR rule 1, I'd nevertheless want to make the most of the link to your "other" circuit to add variety via stock transfers and distance to runs. Thanks so much for sharing your experience and inspirations. It's always helpful to see what others "see" to model. I really enjoyed the industry composition together with the mix of live and abandoned lines, adding "history" to the story you can share about your layout.

Wow this is an impressive layout. I really love the use of background buildings. The street running area is really neat too. I found you on Wilmer’s not bad episode 70. Thx for sharing. David

Only comment is: Fill the vertical grooves between the wall paneling and paint it powder blue...Or cover it with perhaps thin blue plastic sheets..

Very, very nice layout man, it's looking good. I would suggest adding a backdrop and fascia. You've done a great job with it, but people looking are going to their eyes drawn to the paneling and all the exposed wiring. It's like looking at a painting without a frame.

great layout a suggestion would be to pick up some cheep lights then you could mount them above the darker places

That is part of a separate N scale layout. I may film it in the future.
